@vinoop729 lol this may sound crazy but try it i had the same problem with my L button not working found something on a forum saying if you blow on it i mean like blow into it (i know sounds crazy) but it actually works XDDDD so give it a try just a temp fix though so you would need to do it every few days it stops working i guess blowing on it forces the button under it to unstick of something just give it a try doesn't work for everyone but might help you gl

@sniper191919 yeah, my sisters ds had that problem and that worked for her, but yeah u do need to do it again every now and then. the problem is because there is dust under the button, blowing kinda moves it away so it works again. :)

As impressive as this game is, my biggest problem with it is the guns; there isn't enough of a selection as in the bigger consoles and they fire far too slow. These problems were corrected with the third CoD DS installment; CoD Mobilized. Its just too bad they couldn't do that for CoD WoW for DS; particularly because WWII is my favourite genre for any shooter. Nice review!

you should get "brothers in arms" if you have it, its a good game also, but you have to do the same thing, kill the nazi's (however you spell it). Yeah, everything works the same it's just with the old DS you don't have the DSi shop and stuff.

I do have one, and yeah it plays all your old games online. Wifi in general plays a bigger role on the DSi.

Don't worry smashking, there's virtually no gore in this game. It's only Teen rated for one, and the only blood you'll see is tiny pixelated red bits. Often times, you won't even see any blood at all.

Yeah it is a little short, same with the console version. The WiFi has a decent amount of modes and maps, I just wish it was as advanced as MPH was. Have friend rooms, text and voice chat, etc... Hopefully the next game fixes those drawbacks. :)

i know really. mph had all that great stuff and like 2x better graphics. i also hate how cod5 has like no environmental sounds in the wifi. no footsteps either so its hard to know when someone is behind you

Oh yeah, I didn't even think about the lack of footstep sounds. I loved exploting that in games like the battlefield series, lol.

Unfortunately, yes. Someone with an Action Replay can hack the game and do bad stuff. I've run into many hackers on the DS over the years. It's just something one must put up with when playing online, sadly.

I hear ya. I havn`t played either, but given the choice, I'd probly take 4 over WaW. I made a vow to not buy any more WW2 FPS games on console. I'm so sick of WW2 games. I made an exception for the DS, though. Hopefully MW2 hits DS this year. :)

Ugh, no offense but i think this version of the game looks poor in comparison to the PC and console ports. I have a DS and i love it but i just don't like spending 60 dollars on something when i could use the same money to buy the console port of the game. Perhaps if it were cheaper then i would buy it. Wrong, where you live DS games might cost that little, where i live (Iceland) games cost allot for a number reasons such as: poor economy, greedy company's that control the market, our currency is weak at the moments. So DS games here often cost as much as 50-60 dollars with PS3 and Xbox 360 games often costing as much as 60-80 dollars. :(

Yea, games here cost a truckload of cash to buy. I have owned a xbox 360 console for like 2 years and only own like 5-7 games for it simply because i don't want to spend 70-80 dollars on something that's just "run of the mill" I only buy big important games on it like Gears of war 1 and 2 and Saints row 2 and games of that sort, anything else is just a waste of money given how much games here cost.

Yeah I can't say I'd blame you. I know the feeling, too. Back in the days of the N64/PS1, those games were a lot more here in Canada then what they are now. When I bought Banjo Kazzoie, that was 80$. I saw Quake 2 (N64 port) as high as 115$! Going back further to the SNES days, when my mom bought me the first power rangers game, that was 100! Still have it too, one of my fav SNES games, lol. :)

Yes, you can carry two primary weapons, like a machine gun and sniper rifle. You aren't stuck with just your handgun as the secondary.

You don't actually have a knife, but you can melee. A fist will appear on screen letting you know you can punch, you have to be close up.

The intros are mostly text with a background image. There is a decent amount of VO during the levels.

There's very little parachuting in the game. I can only recall 1 ATM, and you must land in a certain spot and not overshoot.

I can't say since I missed the DS version of MW, but from what I've read, they fixed a lot of the technical issues in this game, and there's more features in general in waw, so in that sense it's better.

Controls are fairly easy to learn. Of all the DS shooters I've played, I'd say this is the easiest to control.

Yes, the wifi usb dongle is made for those who don't have a router, so that would work just fine.
