When I first heard this song I just stared at the screen not moving at all. Its just an amazing song, that fits the way Rome was during that time period. A slow song with a hint of sadness in it. But also with hint of happiness and calmness. Assassin's Creed has changed me. Ezio was respectful when he killed his enemies, saying "Requiescat in Pace". Assassin's Creed will never be wiped from my memories. Never.

@naamhier Sure, because AC1 is so historically correct. Of course a group of Knights Templar found the Ark of the Covenant beneath Jerusalem in 1200-something. That doesn't sound like a made up plot at all...

Did anyone notice that Ezio's cap has the same form as a eagle head ? Exspecially the beak.

Besides, the fortress of Masyaf called Alamut which mean "Eagle's nest" in Arabic.

We can see eagle on the top of view points. And, at last, in the generic of AC2, an eagle cry when Ezio jump on the ground from a rooftop.

Eagle is a symbol of courage, strengh and glory. Power and might. Free and fast. It fits well with Assassin's Order.
