Thunderbolts actually 10Gigabits ps not 10Gigabytes. 10 Gbits is like 1024MegaBytes a second.

@franfred11 about the difference, the new one has Intel Core i5 while the old one has only Intel Core 2. the new one is 2.3 GHz plus it is i5, it can actually perform itself up to 3 GHz. the old one just pointless of saying it but it is jjust much slower than the new one.

just to let you know, the 10 gbps is "gigabits per second" and not gigabytes per second. the conversion is about 10 gigabits = 1.25 gigabytes. just and fyi.
