aelred123, you mean, 2A-hf Lp-2F or 2S, no? Yes, at the 83 Worlds, she did a couple of those to cover up the weak landing on the 1st jumps. In the 70s, though, she regularly attempted a 2A-hf Lp-3S., which none of the male skaters could even attempt! If you know the Vodorezova from the 70s, this looks like a completely different skater... She became a beautil, exquisite skater--without any of the huge jumps she used to be known for.

@clarriona Agreed. Great spinner, great footwork. It seems the timing of the '84 Olympics was against her. She just was not herself at all in that competition.

Surprised she missed the double axel combo as the double axel is her best jump. I wonder where she would have been placed in this program had she hit it.

It really is a shame that combo jump with the 2loop gave her problems in 1982 as well. Especially considering that prior to her injury she could throw a double loop onto anything perhaps the loop jump gave her issues after being of the ice for so many years.
