However, during normal public driving or use, I've been told not to drive with them on. Of course....it also depends what cop buddies of mine are currently on patrol. :-)

@robloxfan3211 Ecto was made out of a 59 Miller Meteor Cadillac Ambulance with the Futura body package. I "know" what Ecto is suppose to look like. Problem is, they only made 300+ models like that. I got my hands on a 1960 Superior and built it up. This video is also 3 years old. My other videos show more accurately what she has evolved into to more closely resemble the movie car. Find me a 59, and I'll do a closer job. "sorry"

@whysohardto Not so much as me being sensitive about it......but rather I've gotten in the habit of deleting the stupid comments that other people have made in the past about how "wrong" I was to do an Ecto out of a 1960 Superior,instead of the actual car.. Ecto was a 59 Miller Meteor coach with the Futura body style. The Ecto I did is a 1960 Superior High top which we both know isn't the same. Your first comment sounded like it was going to be one of "those" comments :-)

As far as Ecto's roof lights..........it was a bit of a concern for me here.....but in the last three years, all the law enforcement folks have been real receptive to it. None have threatened, warned, or asked me to remove them. They just ask that the lights aren't used on a public highway or road.

That's definitely a nice Kitt conversion no doubt about it. However, mine does more than just have flashy lights and make sounds. I too have the voice recognition built in with "actual" Bill Daniels voice responses answering to me "Michael" as well as a functioning oil slick, a functioning smoke screen, and a working micro jam. :-) His is nice, but it's a season 2 conversion.... mine is season 3/4. Have to compare apples to apples. :-)
