nice truck mate, these motors are 4.0L not 4.2...unless bored out? check out my vids i have same motor turboed with a bit of work and god she revs hard with a nice turbo sound....what turbo are u running?

Acuratsx29: it was not to bad fitting the engine under the hood. Had to modified my motor mounts.

Is the turbo spooling at high RPM is what makes the whistle sound.

What makes these motors make the whistling noise when you step on the gas? Absolutely love this monster !!

Holmes ,was it hard fitting that engine on the fj ?

I can't remember where I bought the dual gas can I had it for a while in my other fj but as soon I find the tag on it I will let you know. The tires are awesome! Best off road tires I ever had. They are not bad going down on the highway but they sure have a grip on the ground! I have enough cleareanse on them now but I'm working on putting a better suspension and also on my doors which they are from a newer style cruiser.
