why has milan got 2 airports one big and one small the city isnt that big is it

milan is a city with about 1,5 milion people...not so small as you think...and if you consider all the other city around it population grow to 2,5-3 milion...that's why it has 2 airport,and malpensa it is an intercontinental airport like fiumicino airport in Rome

the two others civil airports are malpensa and linate...

there is also near milano Bresso, Bergamo and others little airports
