  • I have body measurements going way back to 1980, when I was 12, nearly 13 years old. Other victories include gaining cities and counties to my biking distance. In 1992, I biked to San Francisco, in 1994 to Gilroy, in 1995 to Hayward, in 1996 to Sausalito, in 1997 to Half Moon Bay, in 2001 to San Leandro, Pacifica, and Santa Cruz, and in 2008 to Oakland and Hollister. The last was 100 km one-way.

  • since this plan makes you lose weight fast but maby slower than the previous week you need to make someone hide the scale and only allow them to use it on your monday. being a scale junkie is the reason i fell off the boat on my first attempt.

  • stay discaplined.......this is great advice right here......when you achieve your goals, you have to WORK YOUR ASS off in the kitchen to maintain your new body composisiton for about 5-6 months.....body composition maintainence for 5-6 months, could solidify your new body composition

  • the reason why that happens is because your body is adjusting to your new workout/eating habits, its normal. :)

    Don't be discouraged 42lbs lost and 25 inches lost is so great!!! You could be at a little plateau.

  • thats what i was thinking, maybe my body is plateau-ing a bit, im going to monitor the situation a little bit more closely this week and if i notice the same thing happening im going to switch my foods around and see if that helps any. lol! thats my husbands knife, trust me that scale almost got shanked! :P

  • its the worst isnt it? there are days where im convinced i have lost and then i get on the scale and nothing! but im trying to keep track of my measuremtns now so i dont get too mad at my scale.

  • i dont rely on it so much as its a tool i use to keep myself motivated, when i see those numbers going down it keeps pushing me harder to accomplish my goals.

  • I suggest you contact the scale abuse prevention hotline "1-800-GET THE HELL OFF ME". There is help available. It's clear that poor scale is in a dangerous environment. Hey, Sophie scared my Sable at the end.

  • it is in a dangerous enviroment, it seriously alomost got chucked out of the window the other day. lol! poor sable!
