she’d rather wear a pair of cut-off jeans than a fancy evening dress, and with her windows rolled down and her hair all blown around, she’s a hot southern mess, she’ll take a beer over white wine and a campfire over candle light
alabama need to come back we their fans miss them and would fill up the concert if they came out of retirement, which randy still sings by his self as randy owens
@theguitarzan you commented on on of my posts saying "Brad opened for us about 10 years ago on a summer tour. His britches were a bit big back then. Still are. He's not well respected in the 'ville. INSIDE... this is considered a stunt. Fans like it, and maybe he'll sell a few copies and seats. (Still has a way to go to catch up to us though!) " Who the hell is us? I went to see your videos... there was one by the Jonas Brothers, how the fuck am I supposed to take you seriously?
@theguitarzan are you fucking kidding me?! much respect to brad paisley. he's been one of the top country artists for a while now. also, he's not some joke of a face with a decent voice - the man plays all of his own lead guitar. he's a MUSICIAN, not some shitbag of a mediocre-at-best pop singer who claims he/she's country
@swburton316 Amen brother thanks for saying that, as a aspiring guitarist i can only dream of playing like can someday. He sounds the same live as he does on CD also which you dont' find to much these days.
@swburton316 if anyone agrees they should like.this guys got it right brad paisley sings COUNTRY not this talyor swift shit if u have music thats played on pop and soft rock stations ur not true country
@Joleniacz Brad opened for us about 10 years ago on a summer tour. His britches were a bit big back then. Still are. He's not well respected in the 'ville. INSIDE... this is considered a stunt. Fans like it, and maybe he'll sell a few copies and seats. (Still has a way to go to catch up to us though!)
@theguitarzan You're kidding, right? Brad is one of the few (if not the only) country musicians who pays homage to the legends, both by their involvement in his projects and in his sound. Brad is well on the way to becoming one of the legends.
@theguitarzan you say pander and profit off the legends... well the legends took part in this project - that is them singing willingly, so i don't understand where your argument comes from.
I live in the Pacific North west and all I hear on the radio is Keith Urban and Rascal Flats.... They need to put some true country on their radio stations like Alabama or Ledoux!
Love this song. I grew up listening to Alabama, no other country band I've heard can compare. When I was 4 we met Sawyer Brown in person, and they asked me who my favorite country band was, and being a brutally honest child I said, "Well Alabama's my favorite, but I like you guys too." My parents were so embarrassed, but they laughed. XD
YEE HA!!! ;) LOVE the song, Brad, & AL!!! I was LUCKY enough to have seen Brad when he was just starting out & opened for Alan Jackson back in March, 00', at The Brown Co. Arena in Green Bay, WI!! & I really got LUCKY to when I saw AL, at a free concert, which Kenworth used to generously sponsor every year, PLUS meet them & get all 4 autographs, at the 03' Mid America Truck Show in Louisville, KY!!! They were AWESOME!! I love both of them & hope to see em' again some day (if AL reunites..?)

@theguitarzan you're a fucking moron. 10 years ago Brad was head lining. If this song had nothing to do with Alabama it would still be a hit.

"The fans like it". That's a good thing! Ya sound like sour grapes to me, bub.
Plus, it's a great "stunt!"
But what do I know? I'm just a fan....

Don't think Brad Paisley has yet earned the right to be the one to pander/profit off of the legends like this.
