  • Great idea. Are those re-inkers, dye or embossing ink?

  • Great tutorial. Tfs

  • Thanks. I don't have any glimmermist and this would be a good way to try it out.

  • Great idea! I heard someone say to use alcohol too. Dries quicker. Anyway I can get the look of Glimmer Mist without having to spend more money is great with me!! I'm on my way to try this!! I have everything listed, so why not??

  • I put a piece of paper in the bottom of my spray box so that whatever I'm spraying also becomes a mask - 2 for the price of 1 lol

  • What a great idea. TFS...

    Gale The Happy Stamper (:

  • It is probably a toss up price wise, but I was being impatient. I wanted a brown mist but didn't have it, so I made my own...lol Although, this will also match Stampin' Up! product colors too. So, either way, you get the best of both worlds. :>

  • I've tried estimating in terms of cost for making my own versus buying glimmer mist. I only managed to give myself a head-ache. -Dera

  • You can use Pearl Ex... It's 5 bucks more than perfect pearls AND you get 4X as much!! BTW.. it's the same thing :)

  • @speckalou but pearl-ex will flake off as it doesn't have a built-in resin like perfect pearl which reacts with water then becomes permanently on paper. I tried that, didn't work. I also tried adding some Gum Arabic, then it defintely clogged up my spray bottle, and it's not reversible!! But do tell me if you get that worked with Pearl ex as I have a good stock of those.
