Hey really nice job on your review! You should get a commission. Made me laugh when you went through that whole 'nipple' routine in part 1. Good job mate.
Very nice review. I think that you may have curbed my desicion towards the Nitecore. I currently own the Nitecore Defender Infinity. It has turned out to be a great EDC, but i'm not looking forward to paying the price. It also tends to tear my pockets up with the Crenalated Strike bezel. Looks like the D10 has just earned a new spot with me.
Good review man, you remind me of nutnfancy, soooo long winded, less is more. You can say more by talking less. But I do like your videos, good job man.
@aendzo; I did that with a mag-light. Sort of. It worked fine on two AA Alcalines, but when I put in two AA Lithium batteries, it burned out the lamp! I replaced it, and did it again, because I didn't believe it the first time! LOL
Good video. I've had the D10 for a year, and it's been excellent. What I think you don't mention is that it remembers the last setting after turning it off. Makes it even nicer.
if there isnt any power regulator in it, the led would get to much energy and might broke immediatly or the lifetime will be reduced tremendously...(i bet the companies let the led already work at a 100% or even above to be able to sell the brightest flashlight on the market)
hey, i was wondering if u could help me with a problem i have. I recently bought a Nightcore D10 and i love it but a couple of days ago one end on the paracord lanyard it came with, came out of the "cord end" im not really sure what to call it, its the part where the two ends of the cord meet and are encased in a kind of black plastic thing, i was looking at that piece but i am unsure as to how to put the cord back into it, ANY help would be great.
the round black part should have a sprign in it so it keeps pressure on the cord, just line of both cord ends and press the piece together to open up the hole you need to feed the sord through then get both cords through uit and let go of the plastic piece...
uh i think you misunderstood me, the piece im talking about is not that round thing with the button used to adjust the size of the hole, it is the actual end of the cord, its more of a flat square or trapezium type shape
Jeff, did you mention using NiMH batteries for better runtime? Good reviews. I'll take either light, but the D10 is intriguing. May end up with one of those. BTW, I think I'll pass on the cookbook video. See ya!
Hmm, I woudl 1st go to candlepoweerforums and ask over there so more knowledgable flashaholics cna maybe help yopu figure it out befoe you send it back...to donate you cna just go to paypal and send payment to cutlerylover at hotmail dot (com) or follow the link uner my name or in my bulletin on ym home page here and floow the instructions...
nope, when I 1st tirned it on it was too bright for the camera to see so it adjusted and toens it down...watch when I 1st turn it on again how it loosk to dim down, thats the camera adjusting the light...no, the beam is pretty smooth, although I heard the newer version with the Osram LED is even better...
There are plenty of lights that blow the D10 out of the water, howevere those lights are all more expensive and usually take CR123 lithiums, which are also expensive....I have bad expereicne with those batteries, had one vent on me with flame, not literally on me, but you know, haha, scared the crap out of me and tuirned me off of them and ALL the really high end lights use them, bummer...So this was great because its small, cheap (for what youn get) bright! full of features, and...takes an AA!
Not specifically, lol but yeah those are nice too...I was thinking about modded incandescentsw like thwe mag85 mod that puts out 1000 lumens...lol looks like a maglite but for the cost of @ $130 or so it delivers a blinding wall of light! If your a CPF member thats old new to you Im sure, lol...then again LED's cant compete with some incans like HID's...yet...
really good vids on these lights jeff, i own the fenix L1D and it is a great light but that D10 looks even better, i have my heart set on getting the fenix TK-10 next its a beast lol..
I have the ex10 and love it. It's a bit smaller which is nice. Took me some time to get use to the UI on my EX10 though. I had to lube the inner tube up a bit to make it usable. The rear button was just way too hard to operate and the instant max or min functions were impossible. After some cleaning and re-oiling I am happy to say that it's very much improved.
Definitely stress the difference between any clicky and the nitecore. Some might miss the tactile feel of input response.
I got the ex10 too from 4sevens- I love it, but I had to lube it as well- I was a bit disappointed at first because I didn't realize I would have to do that- but once I did I liked the light

im planning to buy a fenixtk 10 led lamp, it uses 6v battery, whatll happened if i use 7.2v battery?

i wouldnt recommend that!

just place the ends into the spiky things and close the top.

I wish they had pocket clips. For EDC I don't know about carrying in a holster all the time.

light dimmer on the d10: not to mention the efficiency of it. dimming saves batteries, so must be overall more efficient than other flashlights.
manoman0 3 years ago
dont point those bright flashlights directly into the camera lens it is bad for the sensor

I have been eying the d10 for awhile now, I can't wait to get mine as my edc light.
Granted I have a Surefire e2d defender which rocks, but i like how small and feature laden the d10 is. Great review!

yeah i really like the price point on the d10, thats one of the reasons i was interested.

I believe on the lowest settgin runtime is about 2 full days staright...more info though on their website...or where these are sold...
