  • hi

i was just wondering, if i were to take a photo of fireworks, would i still use this mode even if i wanted the darkness of the night to be there?

    Thanks.

  • @Beeeskiii Your best bet is to shoot in manual, start with ISO 100 f/5.6-8 and shutter of 2-4 seconds... this will vary slightly depending on fireworks and situation. Rick

  • hi i have 50D and the issue that i face with night photograpy is shutter speed, it needs to be low.... what are the settings i can look for if I am not using tripod...

in case of night..where things are moving, low shutter speed will blur them and no tripod...like an issue in night fair.....

  • @waistyleme You will need to increase the iso to get a usable shutter speed. Also watch the aperture with zoom lens, as one lie the kit lens are variable and will stop down/close down as you zoom in F 3.5 - 5.6 letting less light in. Night photography with no tripod needs high iso, and fast lens. Rick

  • I'm about to buy this camera (it's the only one I can afford right now) and this videos are really helpful to me. I'm very obsessive and need to know exactly how something works before I buy it, and believe me, when I go to the store next week, I'll know exactly how to operate this camera, thanks to your vids. Cheers!

  • @mauri383 Your welcome, thank you.

  • I've heard flash is not good in photogaphy. What do you think of it?

Thank you for the videos, very helpful!

  • @shaninaiza Flash is very good, ,when used in the right way. But sometime you do just want to capture using avalible or ambient light. Future videos will cover flash.
