Can you put on Moustorizer? If so, should I put it on before or after applying this product? Please reply I really want to know I suffer from really bad oily skin!
hi! I saw your vblog and went out and purchased the CVS brand of Milk of Magnesia.I tried it 2 diff ways.one day i put my moisturizer on & then the dabbed the milk of magnesia on my face with the wedge sponge.on another day just used it after my toner.However, my face was still getting oily!perhaps not to the extent it was before, but still oily.is there something I did incorrectly? FYI I also used a Rimmel primer (the one you use =)) before I put on the Milk of Magnesia...suggestions?
Both girls and guys can use MoM, just be sure to blend it really well so you don't have white on your face. For makeup wearers, use MoM as a primer, so put it on BEFORE any makeup.
Right now I'm using a mask of lemon juice, salt & flour, letting it dry on my face & wiping it off with a washcloth soaked in hot water. it makes my face baby smooth but it gets oily so quickly, I'll have to try this trick after that & see how it works. PS, I'm 21 & still suffer from severe acne, even tried a med that should have cleared it up, it was the strongest acne med you can get, and i had to go to the doc every month to check protein lvls because its hard on the body, natural all the way

I've been using oil blots for the past year now and they work pretty good for about an hour but I need more than that because i mean come on, i get a little embarrassed having oily skin during school and I'm tired of constantly having to go to the bathroom to reapply my make-up. I just got milk of magnesia and i put a little on my nose and within a few seconds the oil was GONE!

Tthis didn't work for my oily skin, but it did work for my acne, even though I wasn't focused on that. I still use it almost everyday as a mask at night and a mask in the morning,and I wipe it off after 15 minutes. So, I'm still on my hunt for something that would help my oily skin :/
@DivaAngel7J you could try this: pat cornstarch on your face using a blush brush or powder brush. be careful not to breathe it in though. don't get it super close to your eyes either.

I saw this video when u first made it... Wanted to try, but kept forgetting to grab it at the store. I finally did last night! I left it on over night. I always wake up with an oily face.... But not this morning! This stuff is amazing! I used it in place of my moisturizer this morning, without a primer... And my makeup looks flawless! I love the way my makeup looks on with m.o.m.!!!

I use brown rice vinegar as a toner, milk of magnesia as the oil block, and monistat chafing cream as a primer, before using a mineral foundation. The cost of less than department store products and works just as well.

this sounds amazing... but unfortunatelly almost as always I have problems with finding this substance in my country (same was with this liquid that you used with your aspirin toner). all I found was various tablets for stomach problems, but they contain also alluminum hydroxide (I don't know if that wouldn't be bad for my skin) and I don't know the correct concentration :P anyway, thanks for that tutorial, maybe I'll just ask a pharmacist ;)

hey! just wanted to say that you are so flippin awesome! this really works for me and i have pretty oily skin (it get's shiny less than an hour after washing my face). sometimes, i just apply this product on my face and skip the entire face routine makeup when my skin is behaving (which it is now b/c of this stuff :D) and my skin stays matte and natural looking throughout the day. it seriously banished all the acne i had when i developed while in Korea (b/c Seoul's air is so polluted >.<)!

i found that it takes awhile for your skin to get used to. after about a week of using milk of magnesia thats when i feel it really starts to work. then after about 3 months your skin becomes immune to it! i was very dissapointed

I noticed the ingredient is a little different: 77.5mg magnesium hydroxide, potassium sorbate and purified water. Do you know if these ingredient will affect the result? because i noticed that you said the Phillip's one has 120 mg magnesium hydroxide.

I've heard from a lot of people that the pH of MoM is way too high to use on your skin... have you looked into this at all? I don't want to use it if it could be harmful. /:

Hi, after watching this video. I went out to look for one but unfortunately, the local drugstore don't carry this anymore here in the Philippines. Any other alternative for this? Would malox do? it does have magnesium hydroxide.. Hope to hear from you

this sounds amazing... but unfortunatelly almost as always I have problems with finding this substance in my country (same was with this liquid that you used with your aspirin toner). all I found was various tablets for stomach problems, but they contain also alluminum hydroxide (I don't know if that wouldn't be bad for my skin) and I don't know the correct concentration :P anyway, thanks for that tutorial, maybe I'll just ask a pharmacist ;)

In the morning i cleanse my face, and then I apply an acne treatment (benzoyl-peroxide) and then I apply my moisturizer. should i apply the milk of magnesia before the acne treatment? or when can i apply it? please aswer :\

thankkkkkk you for this! i really appreciate your videos because not only does it give cheaper alternatives, but also your skin is similar to mine with cystic and regular acne. i actually use a similar face routine but with a few more steps i know i'm doing the right thing. i can't wait to try this out!

hey! just wanted to say that you are so flippin awesome! this really works for me and i have pretty oily skin (it get's shiny less than an hour after washing my face). sometimes, i just apply this product on my face and skip the entire face routine makeup when my skin is behaving (which it is now b/c of this stuff :D) and my skin stays matte and natural looking throughout the day. it seriously banished all the acne i had when i developed while in Korea (b/c Seoul's air is so polluted >.<)!

This is an EPIC vid. Thank you sooo much for posting this. Now at the risk of sounding totally stupid, I have one question. What do you mean by your asprin toner and your... umm I forgot what you said but the other toner you use. Is it something you bought somewhere and if so where can you get it. I think it was the Asprin part that confused me. Lol I'm stupid anyway YAY!!! Oily skin relief thats CHEAP!!! :)

i found that it takes awhile for your skin to get used to. after about a week of using milk of magnesia thats when i feel it really starts to work. then after about 3 months your skin becomes immune to it! i was very dissapointed

What primer do you use?
I am using the Murad Mattifier as my oil controller at the moment and it works AMAZINGLY! But damn how expensive it is! I'm going to take the risk and get the Milk of Magnesia, but just wanted to know what primer is the best to use with it. Thanks for making all the really helpful videos!

thanks for your review! i went to get a bottle of milk of magnesia today. They don't have the regular one for Phillip's in store, so i bought another brand. I noticed the ingredient is a little different: 77.5mg magnesium hydroxide, potassium sorbate and purified water. Do you know if these ingredient will affect the result? because i noticed that you said the Phillip's one has 120 mg magnesium hydroxide.

omg milk of magnesia worked amazing...i have oily skin with in my t-zone area...and my nose gets really oliy...half way during school i wipe my face with witch hazel...i used milk of magnesia today and no oil...at the end of the day there was only a little oil...thank you...

Just wanted to say that I love how you describe the main like lol idk how to say it but "thing is" for example, I love how you explain to us about what Tourmaline is, BHA, etc. Not sure about other people, but I find it like extreamely helpful for myself(: you should make a video about explaining what other "things" are and what they do good, and bad for you. I know I can always research is, but idk what in specific. there are too much chemicals/irons and blaah out there hehe.
