  • this was one of the first songs I heard from Killing Joke, thanks to it I fell in love with the band. They are simply amazing.

  • Typical of the 80's. Joke against the capitolism of the age. Mind you....our lot could take a bit from it....live it instead of just living!

  • I keep coming back to this song...cannot get enough of it!

  • Golliwogg APPROVES of this song.

  • Saw them at the hammersmith palais way back in the eighties...Geordie was always so cool and the sound that came from his guitar amazing....

  • Great song, still cool!

  • KILLING JOKE...yeah!

  • The sad part of the story is that the Western world has declined notably since this music came out. The 80s were a party compared to now, and its not just age.

Jaz Coleman looks like an insane Elizabeth Taylor!!!!

  • brighter than a thousand suns great cd

  • @cloudbuster66 Too bad this is on Nighttime....

  • Always loved the Over dubbed Glitter Band Drumming. The Joke fresher today than ever before.

  • This songs is as relevant today as it was 20 some years ago. Greed, power, etc. Even worse now than in the 80's.

  • @racerxjj67 I think you'll find that Jaz was anti-christian and he wasn't been ironic

  • @racerxjj67 Agreed. Just had the exact conversation the other day. It's like the 80s were the practice run for today's levels of avarice.

  • "Europe " is my favourite song in this album !!!!

  • One of my favorite Killing Joke tunes! Awesome! If not for Youtube and a bunch of cool posting folks I'd only have foggy memories of Killing Joke.

  • In my opinion this song is the weakest in the album, but the video is cool.

  • Long live the Kings & Queens.

  • Another belting track off the 'Night Time' album! People who slag 80's music off forget that there was decent post-punk stuff like this around. Killing Joke forever!

  • I used to have Ha! and Fire Dances on one cassette. I'd love to get them CD. Sadly the casette melted in the sun ending my fun. They were so about bloody royal decadence, course of empire and the pompose honor of spilling blood in the name of. Brilliant.

  • one of the greates hits of Killing Joke!

    NIGHT TIME a classic!

  • Im with you 100% on the track Night Time, best track off the album thats for sure!

  • I reckon Darkness before Dawn.

Night Time is one of my fav KJ albums.

Killing Joke is a great band, see my channel.

Thnx for the vid EMI,K & Q was only viewable in low Quality.

  • oh darkness was great too, however my next fave is still Tabazan.....oh and you have me slumped to with regard to the interview thats got me beat..........

  • I remember how crystal clear it sounded over other records of it's time. There wasn't one bit of filler on it.

  • Killing Joke rules. Thanks for the vids EMI.

  • Killing Joke, are one of the most under rated bands in the history of modern music. The lyric content in this song, sums up perfectly, the era that it was written in. TAKE IT EASY WHILE THE WORLD GOES CRAZY?????

  • hell yes, and the nighttime album was also under rated....

  • it's a great album though

  • @intothevoid66: totally agree

  • @intothevoid66 - sums it up for every era for the whole world until its inhabitants get their shit together...
