The guy in orange shirt is Howard Bach. The one in black shirt is Nick Jinadasa. They are supposed to be 2 of the best US players. But you can see all the can do is smash, smash, .... I doubt if they can score more than 5 points against the top Chinese and Malaysia players.

What State did this take place?

This yr's U.S. National Badminton Championships took place at OCBC, a full time badminton club in Southern California.

Last yr, they held it up in Menlo Park, CA. As a matter of fact, the U.S. Nationals has been held in CA for the last several yrs. CA is, arguably, the state with the largest badminton followers in the U.S.

This venue has also held previous U.S. Open, a BWF-sanctioned Grand Prix level badminton tourney. This yr, it'll also be held @ the same venue & will run from July 7-12.
