there is a trick to have the 8 golden skulls and the easy race ^^ it's really simple.Get the 7 first golden skulls until the scene with von croy openning the door.OF course he'll open the door for the eay race.wait that he does what he must do and get the last golden skull.really easy dont'you think?

(nb:i tried it with the PAL version and i don't know what's happened with the others.and sorry for my english ^^)

I was always beating him on this path, but on the other one (of the virtuous), witch is the easy one, he was always beatig me, no matter how far ahead I was. Ironic, huh?

Wow, you beat him! I've never been able to even finish it, let alone beat him! At least, not on the harder path; I can beat him easy on the easier course without the corner bug.

Wait, so do you have to beat him for the door to open?

You still can complete the stage no matter you beat him or not; however you have to go through harder path if you don't beat him.

wat do u mean harder path do u get a different choice or something

Wouldn't it be that you would have to go through the harder path if you get all the secrets?

At several points along the path there are gates. If he goes through them before you, he closes them, forcing you to take another (more difficult) route.
