  • would of been a more even comparison with the Lotus Cup 260 in terms of performance:)

  • WTF blablabla to use the launch controll follow these 300 easy instructions....

I would prefer the VW model: step on the brake, step on the gas, foot off the brake, there you go.

  • @ archon808 i disagree, i love that classic small british race car look

  • the CSR is really the world's greatest stocking stuffer

  • That's the stupidest launch control Ive ever seen. You have to start it while holding it at full throttle? They couldn't think of something less harsh!?!?

  • biggest kitchen ive ever seen

  • The caterham is fast, but it is way way way too ugly.

  • lol not only is it a woman driver, but she has a hyphenated name

  • Love that cup holder. Exige all the way

  • Woman driver. That's more dissapointment than no cup holder.

  • this lady can drive!

  • Vicki Butler-Henderson is great!

    That Caterham is a car!

    Supervideo, danke für's Hochladen.

  • @baz1791 the caterham is an amazing car m8 u want to be in one like I have and then you will soon change your mind

  • Shes annoying and isn't that good a driver. Sabine would run circles round her.

  • I want you to be my girl... Please you drive really good

  • "The fastest Lotus"; Exige S

    What about Exige Cup?

  • I'm not watching any more vids with this chick in them, find another

  • I'll take the lotus

  • I don't care if the Kat. Was faster Cos it looks like a kit car being reared ended by a mobility scooter on a wet day, what an ugly car!

  • don't care. still like the exige better.

  • What a retarded launch control, having to turn the engine off, then wait, then having to turn the engine back on while looking like an idiot for flooring the gas, it's just silly.. In my opinion a LC has to be dead simple to use. You are at the lights, the guy next to you gets frisky, you press LC, floor the gas and go like stink.. Then again an Exige does that without the LC anyway, so what's the point?

  • @strandvaskeren What's the point in Launch Control anyway? You've got a clutch pedal, you've got an accelerator pedal what else do you need..

  • @petbedding01 Agreed, I prefer doing it manually too, I'm just say that IF you put a LC in a car, at least make it easy to operate.

  • Woman is driving

  • God she is the hottest driver ever

  • fucking lame chavvy teenage quickie jokes.. total bullshit this.

  • "Time for a quickie." YES!

  • OMG that is the stupidest most amazing launch control ever

i want THAT CAR WITH THAT STUPID AMAZING LAUNCH CONTROL

  • BREWTOLLY FOST

  • lucky bitch.

  • Gorgeous cars and I love the presenter too !!!

  • LAWL caterham looks like a frog with a tent on it!!

  • @Cactaceae33 True, but it goes like a ferret on steroids!!

  • woman drive caterham.... Dangerous

  • time for a quickie yes plz just let me finish up in ya mouth

  • i think she is the new stig, jeremy as called the stig a woman twice so far and im sure its her

  • @mrelderscrollsfan01 she's pregnant..

  • I wish we in Germany would have girls like Vicky and Cars like the Caterham. :/

  • caterham is so ugly lol

  • "time for a quickie" lol :D

  • 00:28 "A cup holdah"

  • this is VBH's best vid by a mile

  • thats the first time i watched the driver more then the car :D

  • I cant imagine driving and talking like that. I get this breathless feeling going that fast around turns. Feels too good to even talk.

  • but the Caterham got no cup holder... what a disappointment

  • @kumanosukeZZ

    too heavy!

  • @kumanosukeZZ You can pull out the passenger seat and bolt in a cup holder.

  • Launch Control is useless :D

  • Where the fuck did she learn to drive!?

  • Love the Caterham but didn't realize build quality was $hit.

  • The F*ck cheek of the uploader. It's not enough that he's Stealing Channel 5 programing, but he has the cheek to add F*CKING ADVERTS. Getting money for something he's stolen

  • You'd have thought they would've atleast waited for a dry day...both cars are awful in this kind of weather conditions, especially the Caterham.

  • She cannot drive. At all. That Caterham ate her for lunch.

  • @StandardToaster42

Look mate, I'm the biggest sexist in the world but she's a pretty good bloody driver! I don't think she's NEARLY as good in a car as Tiff or Jason tho, and she's certainly quite scared on a bike (despite being a bike owner)

  • @StigRossi You're right. She is pretty good for what she was driving. I suppose the conditions weren't exactly ideal either.

After seeing her drive more, I've gotten used to it. But her commentary, I believe, is what gets me. Kind of redundant and unnecessary at certain points.

  • I prefer the Factory Five Cobra to the Caterham

  • 4cyl...im in heaven

  • Love the whole bit! Love how Fifth Gear does the 2 cars overlayed on track for timing comparison.

I'd go with the Caterham. Mental...just completely mental.

  • Usually auto journalists do not drive this well? Did she race before?

    Is she single? haha

  • @14energy Yes, she is a racing driver. And I think she is maried to the director of the Top Gear or someone like that.

  • I'd like to see her race Sabine Schmitz.

  • She looks scared driving that Caterham.

  • dumb bitch didn't even say they were both orange... that's what i get for not watching top gear

  • My tiger supercat is better!! :0)

  • the exige is so awesome =D

  • dam she's good

  • lotus exige or elise ?

  • @felipe5400 exige for shure

  • @felipe5400

    Exige, easily.

The Exige is basiclly an Elise anyway, but with more power, wider wheels/tyres, better brakes and of course with better aero dynamics.

  • I love the rough sound of the Caterham. Everithing else though not too much. Propper build quality, a reasonably hard suspesion set-up for a bit bumpy roads and a bit more space for my doorside elbough.

  • What a lovely way to ruin two fine automobiles...

  • craziest lunch control I've never seen

  • k-trim... bloody pommy accent haha.

  • There is absolutely nothing sexier than a woman who can drive!!!!!

  • @zachary1616 yes there is: the same woman driving you

  • That can't seriously be the launch control can it? I understand her about painful. It sounds as though you're gonna blow out the engine prematurely.

  • @MyCousinTookMyName the engine has a limiter you cant kill it with the throttle alone i would know cuz i got the same engine in my corolla sportivo just without supercharger.

  • @trendkill777 so, let's say: it's not the same engine. Or do you think a turbo-version has only a turbo screwed on? And nothing else in and around the engine has been changed?

  • je trouve le travail video top.

    j'aimerais bine connaitre l'auteur.

    Encore bravo

  • I'd so do her just for the fact that she drives so well.

  • @galactophore Wanna fuck my grandmother? lol she can drive well too..moron

  • @frimer doubt she can even tie her shoes if she's in your family. go fuck yourself.

  • ohhhh!! que sonido tan hermoso el del caterham!!! a beautiful sound!!! yeahh!!

lastima... ustedes que pueden comprar esas cosas!! yo me quede en un corsa.

  • aaa i love you! lol

  • I owned a Lotus elise 122hp tuned to 140hp in Italy in Verona, there's one of the 2 biggest dealers.

The car was a shit, clima broken, interiors lost pieces, awful gearbox, wonderful handling and design but 15 years ago in manufacturing.

    42.000 euros??!!

    Come on...sold after 12 months.

    Now I have a Maserati Granturismo S.

I was thinking about a Catheram or an Exige, but the Exige seems a little bit claustrophobic...the Catherham is lovely but not the CSR,52.000€ here in Italy, too much for me...

  • Damn, I feel sorry for your experience.

-But- the new Lotus have much better quality.

  • obviously has no idea how to pick up 'chicks' if he thinks an orange exige will help him.

  • sodium - you should drive one before you shoot your mouth off.

  • i love carterham...lovely car!

  • Nevermind the falling apart at the end of the lap bit lol

  • Thats what non pro driving is all about, having fun weather it be quick or not, and just look at her face when shes driving the caterham! Shes loving it even tho the thing is falling apart around her! Fuck the exige get a second hand cat for 10 grand and u wont be dissapointed!

  • the CSR is one ugly car, great performance.

  • this is what we english do best small rocket ships that obliterate supercars, 2 of my altime favourite cars love em both and of course VBH lol

  • this is what we americans do. go to space. nuff said.

  • good for you :-)

  • in a straight line ;)

  • I love Vicky. I'd like to have her as a teacher when I buy my Exige (I don't know if it will happen in this life, or in my next one ...)

  • I bet, on a dry track the Caterham would be even more in front of the Lotus

  • Can't disagree with you there. The Exige is pretty awesome for what it can do in the wet in semi-slick Yokohamas.

I enjoy watching that car being driven hard. It looks every bit as good as they say it is when it's on the track eating up the corners.

  • The doors were popping open? The hood was coming off? Who built that car? Obviously some numbnut at the factory. I guarantee she didn't build that from a kit.

  • that was a reference to its speed -.- (acceleration)

  • I'm guessing you don't know much about Caterhams. The doors fasten with two press studs. The roof with press studs all round. If you erect the hood properly, and tension it on the frame, the hood is unlikely to pop off at 150mph, never mind 120mph. You can see from the video that the she hasn't closed the doors properly! It's fiddly but hey, it keeps the rain off and the heat in :;)

  • well it seems like she was looking for luxury in the 7.....

oh cmon..the 7 is built for sport, remove the roof and the windows, wear a helmet or the driving goggles and then enjoy it...

the 7 is much better...u just need a heart to drive it the way u want...or it can spin...

put ur trust in it and watch it go....

i can say this coz i own a caterham CSR 500

  • No you don't. Now get back to school for 'tards.

  • CSR 500 - really? Can't wait to see that one :)

  • must be a limited adition lol

  • not seen a csr 500 but ive seen a r500

  • 2:22 LOL

  • Love the sound of the CSR. I could live with a sound like that. if I could produce it every time I drove it without being pulled over or killing myself.

I've just become a fan of this Lotus but I'm not sure if I could get used to the sound of a supercharger. Give me a turboed one, please. :)

  • !!!!!

  • wow, forget the supercars ,this is the biz ,all left standing inthe dust trail.

brown pants for sure . think most would need more driving lessons for the power .

  • well it actually accelerates form 0 to 60 in 2.8 seconds... could be the driver but i don't really care.. it's just to much power in such little car

  • what a stupid launch control system, what if u need it at the lights? it takes too bloody long, its clearly an after thought thing.

whats the matter with a LC button that holds the engine rpm at say 4500 on boost then dump the clutch when your ready?

  • The lotus can be used as an everyday car (as long as you dont have a family). Its quick and comfortable and has some boot space.

The cateram is a little crazier, but would be hell on wet days - ideal for the track though

  • comfortable? =||||||||

i own an elise S1 and i get mad every time i drive it more than 1 hour on highways... really too noisy and stiff but on the track is THE SHIT

  • thats why you should have gotten a porsche :). i drive my cayman to work every day its amazing!

  • cayman is a nice option... but i prefered a small citycar for everyday + an elise for trackdays and some funny driving on the hills ;)

  • I own a caterham roadsport and actually the hood and the doors aren't that bad, you have to squeeze the top of the door in a special made lit under the roof and then you can drive as fast as you want, nothing wil fly away...victoria forgot to do that. The only thing is that there is water coming thrue from between the windscreen and the hood...nothing to worry about tough, you have to remember it's not a limo. Great video and nice driving

  • "Breathe, Victoria!"

  • The windscreen and cannopy is total crap on the CSR, wear goggles.

  • does anyone know if i would fit in either of these cars im 6'3" thanx.

I'm roughly 1,81cm (around 5'11') an I *fit* in the exige. My boss is around your height and he*fits* in it as well, but (and it's a big "but"): Having driven both the Elise and Exige on long trips, don't expect *any* comfort whatsoever. If you want a Lotus, better book a test-drive and make sure you're able to drive it for a long strech (1 hour+) to see if you can tolerate the spartan interior. Other than that: Great cars!.

  • I agree I'm 1,81 too, but I have long legs and I couldn't heel & toe when I drove it, its impossible because the steering wheel

    doesn't clear my knees

  • I;m 5`11 with my shoes on:-) plenty of headroom in the lotus. there is a technique for getting in and out, so a little bit of practice ends the clambering head first.

One thing though, dont accept a race from the cateram if you see one on the track :-) hanger 111 can fix that for £5k!

  • Perfect cars, but woman comments and test driving is fuckinshit

  • you guys are idiots, not a single one of you can hand her a cup, furthermore I'd rather watch a cute woman driving well

and making sense, than watch some homophobic, stupid bloke who thinks he can drive but really cant

  • Машины блестящие!

    но бабский тестдрайв все испортил

  • why is a woman on a motoring show?

  • because she drives much better then you do ;)

  • does anyone know if i would fit in either of these cars im 6'3" thanx

  • i've sat in a lotus and ... it's pretty tiny lol ...

    i'm 5' 11"

i wouldn't recommend it but you could probably squeeze in!!

    GO GO GO!

  • I would take the Lotus over the Caterham anyday>

Call me sexist but I always have trouble believing women testing race cars

  • I want both of those cars - Lotus for every day use, Caterham for road trips.

  • I think someone misinformed her how to actually use the Launch Control!

  • no doubt. The way she did it was hard for the poor engine!

  • You guys can keep the cars. I'll take Viki.

  • that chick can drive

  • Oh no ! It's the British Bo Derek driving the lightweight sportscars I'm crazy about. ! : ) It' wishfull thinking I know, but only if all those little sportscars and women looked like this !

  • She is the sexiest girl on earth any girl who can drive the well if wife worthy.

  • like to see you build a lotus in your shed give me a caterham any day!

  • this is stupid to compare these two cars

  • i like the lotus better than than the caterham

  • I'd take the Lotus over the Caterham any day.
