Unfortunately NQR and EMA both disprove the concept that a Double Blind test would cause them to fail. Both are far more accurate at close range, and when their power is ramped up. Which is why NQR is utilised solely in similar machinery to that used in conventional airport security devices. You know, big enough for a suit case to pass through their very highly focused projected energy.
EMA meanwhile, as a force of magnetism, would specifically react to objects closer to it without fail.

There are so many failures in logic in the comment section. When it comes to something as important as a bomb detector, the burden of proof is on the people who say that it works. It's incredibly idiotic for someone to say, "prove to me that this bomb detector doesn't work" since the proof could cost lives. That would be like if I said that I could cure cancer by sawing off someone's head. The burden of proof is on me since in order to prove that it doesn't work, I'd have to kill someone first.
