Great idea, but personally I would have come up with a much more important reason for a hidden room, than a laundry! Really! What about all your food, ammo, & gold storage?
That's an awesome idea. I've been struggling with a particular design layout for a future house rehab and this just solves my problem. Only improvement I'd add is make it electric. Thanks for the inspiration.
All that money to hide dirty laundry? There's a 1%er for you. Also, it doesn't look like you're saving any space with the bookcase opened or closed it's occupying the same space. You might even have lost space because you have to leave 2 bookcases worth of area open so you can open and close it.
hidden room = cool
hidden laundry room = not cool
