Just proves how much of a lucky run Geelong has had with the umpires. One goal which was an obvious mistake given a point and it cost them the game BULLSHIT. Grow up PUSSY¨S I could count over 15 times this season the umpires have made dreadfull decisions in front of goal and caused a distinct change on the score board. Stop being sore losers, Collingwood is the better team. Need to be reminded for a quarter and a half Geelong didn´t get the ball inside their 50. Lucky Pies didn´t kick straight!

Give the ump some credit, in real time it looked very close, he had to make the decision. Slow it down as much as you want but it unfortunately won't change a thing.

@WHAxWadeo No matter how borderline a decision is or how much pressure they are under, a goal umpire at AFL level has to be able to make the correct call 100% of the time. This is a perfect example of why video referrals should be introduced into the AFL to eliminate any doubt in this kind of situation.

@darijoe Why target goal umpires simply because it directly effects the score? No umpire is right 100% of the time, and field umpires make far more incorrect decisions which affect the scoreline. Should they have video technology too?

Think of all the recent incorrect goal umpire decisions. Waite/Byrnes recently, then Hawkins in the 08 Grand Final and port getting awarded a point when kicking it out on the full in the 04 grand final.

How many incorrect decisions are made on field every game!

@WHAxWadeo With goal and boundary umpiring, decisions are more black and white as opposed to the field umpires having to make decisions on many grey incidents. Either it's a goal or it isn't. I have been a goal, boundary and field umpire at high school level and it is certainly a lot easier to make decisions as the first two. I admit that on the rare occasions I have made a mistake, I have been more heavily criticised than the field umpires. But regardless of our opinions, video tech is the way.
