  • I am from Iowa, but I live in Illinois. You SHOULD make one!

  • dude i saw your myspace page i lived in muscatine for 4 years....weird

  • sorry to hear that. m-town wasn't that bad, I've just been in too many large cities that it bores me to quickly now. I'll post a video in the next couple of weeks on how to build this amp. stay posted.

  • very nice CBG! How about a video on how you made the amp?

  • Fucking badass. My jaw dropped.

  • I might be willing to sell these 2 together. I burned fret marks into the neck since this video. Looks REALLY good. My wife hangs it on the wall in our living room.

    do u have plans(schematics? 0_o)

    lol

  • yo play world war 3 by KMFDM with that thing

  • hey i was wondering that thing dosent have a pick up what did you use ?

  • I can bet that it's a piezo pickup built in the box. That's what a lot of people use on CBG's.

  • it is a piezo speaker from radio shack. nothing fancy at all.

  • wow great job

  • this is AWESOME

  • thanks for the advice on the strings and tuners. I hope mine will sound like yours when im finished.

  • Did you use acoustic or electric guitar strings and tuners? Does it matter which kind you use.

  • I used cheap light gage acoustic strings. I can't tell you what type of tuners they are, because I threw the package out. I wouldn't think it mattered, but I would use acoustic.

  • for strings, it depends on whether you intend to electrify it with a magnetic pickup or not.

  • very nice. It sounds great, thanks for the info about the little gem amp im going to attempt to build one.

  • what kind of strings did you use? guitar?

  • can you make a "how to build a cigar box guitar" vid. please. im trying to make one myself. im trying to find all the different angles and stuff. where did you get those tuning pegs? and how much were they?

  • dude that insane you play it great i am going to make one! they seen pretty easy to make and look fun to play

  • How do u make the amp?

  • just google "little gem amp", lots of info out there on how to do it, then take your list to radioshack

  • Three string huh? Sounds pretty awesome.

Can you help me understand what pick up you're using, with just a jack or an added pre amp? Where are they atached inside? Just thought I'd try to build me one too!

  • the pickup is a piezo buzzer from radioshack (#273-073A) Just tape inside the box and wired to a 1/4" mono jack. In this video it is hooked to a "little gem" cigar box amp that I made. google "little gem amp" to find info on how to make it.
