  • as far as i know the idea of comments is to post a comments, how strange you are, a reply about your own opinion would have be so much better, than just wasting space. Still a waste of money and at the end of the day whats the point? is it going to change your life any?

  • Hello adlerzwei so you must be gaining something form the experiment, Its not a matter of science but a share waste of money, you answer me from your own little mind, what is the benefit from knowing about the big bang? at a cost of billions.

  • nezinu

  • @MrKorrazonCold

    are your childrens starving

  • what a waste of money, whats the point in trying to work out what happened billions of years ago, we all live and die. better be careful they might create another big bang and that might be the end of it. Who gave them the right to mess with our home anyway.

  • @MrBob121970 are you stupid or do you just hate science? -.-

  • @MrBob121970 If you don't like it, don't watch videos about it or post comments just for the sake of being a troll. Instead get off the computer and read your bible.

  • Im never paying taxes again

  • I can't believe you guys are fighting because of the ads... lol

  • So, you spent billions of dollars wasting finite resources to find out particles smashing together at higher velocities break up into even smaller little peices

Weiner Heisenberg called an end for particle physics in 1978,' when he realized that the universe must be made of these standing-wave's

You can fool most of the people most of the time, but not all of the people all of the time.

You idiots will be exposed as the stupid lier's that didn't give a fuck about our starving children's future!

  • Could we get German speaking or French speaking person on the subject?

  • Comment removed

  • @napalmthem In science, you don't find by searching for something you want. You find by searching for something else. Examples : penicillin, x-rays, microwaves, radioactivity treatment for cancer

  • It is impossible to solve the mysteries of the string theory using quantum particles.

  • didn't watch this video because of the adverts..lifes to short

  • allah is the greatest and all you lies never win the quran and what the prophet MOHAMED BROUGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mawadawrahma When I'll stop laughing I'll comment that

  • This thing broke the speed of light. All Physics are out the window

  • @TheMrjeffery1 No, that's impossible.

  • Why did i give up on maths when I was a kid?

  • @PktMma You shouldn't of given up on English either.

  • @hiphopapotamis25 Do you mean I shouldn't HAVE?

  • @hiphopapotamis25 "You shouldn't HAVE given up English either"

  • Dear Santa.

  • This would make a great water slide...

  • im more worrying they create a blackhole with that collision...

  • @frecoz1 If they create a black hole, it's mass would be so small you wouldn't even notice anything happened, and nothing catastrophic would occur. It would dissipate in such a short time that we'd be lucky to notice. Would be awesome to make one, if we did. That is, according to the Hawking Radiation theory of couse.

  • @stevenmtaylor21 I also heard it would be so weak it would go away as soon as it was created, sucking almost nothing.

  • @frecoz1 If it did it would be micro so it's not that big of a deal

  • @SLINGSBYFIREFLY You are ignorant! I hope a group of " Minorities" find you and hitler your anal

  • I'm not trusting them - why should I ?

  • @SLINGSBYFIREFLY What about honkeys?

  • @SLINGSBYFIREFLY A troll is a person who doesn't admit they're a troll....there for you aren't a troll.

  • @AgrivatedKillah Dont know where you got that logic from but its deathly wrong.

  • @AgrivatedKillah faulty logic ............

  • @kingofdice66 Even if I stood where earth quakes occur i'd never have faulty logic

  • @AgrivatedKillah i admin i'm a troll, your logic says that if i were admit to being a troll in reality i'm not , but in ::::reality:::::::: i am really a troll, a proof o contradiction your logic

  • @SLINGSBYFIREFLY Why would you bring racism to a science video.

  • fucking ads

  • @Utubeawsome1 Fucking idiots, Ads make YouTube free. I dont wanna pay for YouTube just to get no ads. Learn some patience you ass.

  • @SLINGSBYFIREFLY i am ready for ur project & delighted about your theory

  • When will happen؟

  • @smiles1969able do you smoke weed or something or have just perfected the practice of being a dick head? y would they smash particles into mercury? hav you tried to stand a liquid on end lately?

  • fantastic, lots of magnets, electricity, copper, expense.....VAST expense.....much intellect! and terrabytes of EXPENSE.......and we are still no nearer to feeding those that die of hunger everyday, and i doubt we will be any nearer when they fail to comprehend the data....congratulations eggheads, millions of people have starved while you have used resources to produce your cyber peashooter, well done, one scientific question though, what is the true value of intellect used unwisely?

  • @whackitov your so dumb, that thing that you type your comment on had billion and billions of dollars of research that went in to it you want that nice new smart phone then you also need the money and research that went into making it. and you have no idea what your talking about its not some small question it could answer some extremely big questions you don't know anything about nuclear chemistry so you should not be talking about it.

  • @cooljacob204 i dont recal anyone burrowing into the swiss mountains to research the mobile phone :/

let me ask you, WHAT use could the answers to these extremely big questions you speak of be????

is there an end result?, the collider cant be used to produce energy, its only designed to smash a few particles, so what use it it in relation to the VAST expenditure?......i suppose you would be one of those that would say investing a trillion to take a photograph of pluto is a good move

    :/

  • @whackitov Our model of respresntin matter with atoms and electrons and whatever is obsolete.Like newtonian physix it works just for simple things and you can teach in school to children, for them make no difference. But for scientists the fact the model does not fit complicated things, like these high energy collisions is important. They observe and test models and theories and what your kid learn in school tommorow will be more accurate

  • @Olengher btw i always wonder how you need infinite energy to accelerate a particle to speed of light.Where do you lose all that energy since phisics state that nothin is lost or gain, everythintg transformes. It turns into mass, no suprise, Einstein knew it.Now they just need to figure out how, they search for the particle that make the mass exchange.Your frige is more important?

  • @Olengher my fridge is more useful certainly, and takes a shitload less energy and money to produce, in terms of efficiency my fridge is energy rated A, the hadron collider would need new letter produced because Z is nowhere near an indicator of how inefficient it is.

one question, why is it important to see or measure the particle responsible for mass exchange?? is it not wiser to simply agree that an atom does that, and to work on ways to get the atom to increase energy eficiently??

  • @Olengher i very much doubt that, science teaches that perpetual motion is not possible, yet i can take one tomato seed and produce a thousand tomato seeds, which in turn each produce a thousand tomato seeds, yet science teaches that we exist in a state of limited resources, scientific 'theories' are a complex way of ignoring natures facts, they look at the pixel in the picture whilst missing the rembrandt

  • @whackitov Phisics says you can't extract infinite energy from a finite source. To have infinite energy the something must be infinite heavy or move infinite fast.So far nothing fits the description, we don't have the materials required from witch to extract unlimited energy. The perpetual motion machine, i had one, made in china, it run out of batteries.

  • @Olengher why complicate things for oneself? first you say that energy cannot be destroyed, nothing is lost or gained. then you say you cannot extract infinate energy from a finite source?....if nothing is lost nor gained, then surely the energy is infinate? and therefore not a finite source?

  • @whackitov No, you twisted my words and doged the problem, how can you extract infinite from something finite and measured like perpetual motion machine that has weight and size.Perpetual motion is possible, lookup on google, science never said it's not possible.I'm not gonna argue if it's usefull as energy source cos your logic is more brutal than kung fu from the matrix. You go ahead and build it.

  • @Olengher okay, you say something is a finite source, ok lets denote that source as 'x'. lets say 'x' is rock, rock is constructed of atoms, atoms with electrons which rotate the nucleus, those electrons never stop rotating around the nucleus.....if they never stop, or run out of energy as it where, how do they keep rotating perpetually? what powers them?

im not twisting anything, im simply challenging your perceptions in the hope i can get you to view things differently

  • @whackitov nothing is powering them. they have kinetic energy and no outside force that works against its motion. Thats why it never stops moving.

  • @whackitov What hes saying is that given a certain object you can only extract from it the energy that it has stored in it, no more.

  • ok, ill give you a straw, and i want you to drain the ocean, do you think it is possible to drain the ocean? this universe which you view using your limited physics is full to the brim with energy, far more energy than we could ever possibly use, it would be impossible to drain it, all the 'megaminds' out there need to do is adapt the way they look at things. begin with sacred geometry and you MAY find a hint of that which i am talking about

  • @whackitov Those tomato seeds of yours arent created out of nothing. They are matter taken from the ground and transformed into organic materials that make up the seed such as dna, rna, proteins, sugars, lipids, etc.

You obviously have little understanding of physics

  • @jeanlucncoelho of course they are created out of something, but that something in the soil, if used according to universal principles I.E take only what is NEEDED, never runs out but is regenerated by the natural earth cycles= an endless supply.

i have an understanding of physics, including an understanding of metaphysics, you clearly have no understanding of the latter my friend

  • @whackitov but most of that energy is inaccessible to us.

  • @JeaoLucius only because we are looking at the problem from the wrong perspective

  • @whackitov our resources arent endless. why do you think the worlds petroleum is running low?

They also thought there would be an endless suply of it.

FYI: Metaphysics is not physics or an area of science for that matter

  • @JeaoLucius it may not be a science, as science is commonly recognised, but that does not mean it should be disregarded out of hand. in fact it has a lot to offer in terms of insight if science bothered to investigate it.

so you buy the priceless nugget that petroleum is running low? i presume you dont know about the north alaska fields which have been discovered then? the ones the oil magnates are keeping the worlds best kept secret, also the one the oil magnates are refusing to tap?

  • @whackitov actually it could be used for research to make new energy the amount of energy produced when you break a atom into its original quark parts are immense i believe its about 10 time more energy then what is produced during nuclear fission this is not only to explain about the big bang this is also providing research about atoms themselves.

  • @cooljacob204 how is this new energy device going to be funded?? the hadron collider is EPIC already, how big would it need to be to run my fridge??

and what would you say about the amount of 'quark parts' totalling more than the sum of the two atoms?...surely that just confuses these 'wonderous minds' further? it does not answer any questions, but raises far more than they could have ever dreamed of.

  • instead of colliding it you mental bastards add mercury you have a anti gravity machine, also you have a self propelling system that would safely power the entire palnet,, its not new technology, its reversed engineering of a ufo , wake up people its nothing to do with the big bang theory

  • @smiles1969able just add mercury huh? Did that come from the Acme ufo?

  • @nyquildays no not acme that would just be dumb watch /Hiu4W27EQ_I

  • @smiles1969able you dont know what your talking about mercury does not mean anti gravity get off of the sites that spit out bullshit and get into reality.

  • @cooljacob204 i didnt say mercury was anti gravity, it can be spun frictionless to create the effect look into reverse engineering of ufos

  • @nicknicolos1 @immuneshade God flooded the world litterally, as in the story is just a metaphor for God wipped away the sins of the world and started new. The arguements both rely on faith, and whos to say God didnt make the Big Bang? To say that God didnt spur evolution? I'm not trying to hate or anything, but either side could take apart each others logic and arguing is pointless because lets face it, atheists probably arent going to convert theists, and theists probably wont convert atheists.

  • @The007Fossil religion is set of ideas that was written down to control people and keep people from kill each other back when we had no csi and other stuff and if you killed someone know one would find out, that is why religion is made there is no proof of god AT ALL just a bunch of stubborn people that say because its in the bible, tora, koran or was told by there religious figure its true.

  • @nicknicolos1 @immuneshade

Quit arguing, its a serious topic but that doesnt mean either side holds anymore weight than the other. Nick, nowhere in the Bible does it say the earth is 6,000 years old. Immune, The Bible should be taken metaphorically, as in it was not litterally 7 days. The Bible overall should be taken as fact and metaphor. Some events did happen and are considered true while others shouldnt be taken in such a serious sense, like when God flooded the world, it doesnt mean that

  • @immuneshade Evolution is the result of natural selection. We as a species are not under doing natural selection as we have more or less elimanted the selection pressure. Besides, the process of evolution takes millions of years.

You'd sooner believe the words of old books and tablets anyone could have wrote thousands of years ago over the hard work of science? Your choice, but logically it's a stupid one.

  • Good one did you use google to find that answer? Or did the LHC tell you to say that too? Some day that machine will evolve and tell us how to live our lives.. Cant wait

  • @immuneshade

holy sh!! of course, you're right!!!You put your faith in God, but you worship your golden calf, materialism strictly speaking - like all of us you preschool child. The difference is that we try to understand it. It's so easy to say "I put my faith in God"while putting your faith in your selfish asshole you ignorant. You're playing the strong one without any self-confidence - that's the reason why you're comparing the bible with science and joining us. but you're just secluded

  • @tZinar k

  • Oh yeah, it happened again, and again before that one two mabey. Hic, hey the Grand Prix is on. Later.

  • I think I know how the big band happened. I think the big crush happened, until two singularities smashed together. Poof! Universe! Can I go finish my whiskey now.

Have fun at CERN just let me know when you know I'm right.

  • Yes complain that your tax dollars go towards gathering information and increasing the human species knowledge...... while ignoring the fact that living in the US this is being conducted by European counties. Congratulations on being a moron.

  • @Sadisticsofa you dont understand man.. our taxes go to everyone else in the world and not our own government.. lol

  • @ItsNotEvenSunny

We're all a bunch of fuckin slaves!! but I'm pretty happy I admit. Government just needs more engagement from the people. We are kind of switched of politically.

  • @smaaatkid true. but there are those people who protest and rally to get what the people want, most people just dont care though. alot of american citizens just think the government is on like cruise control or something, dealing with all of the problems without our help

  • Ok now im sick of waiting it is now 2011 and for what 2 years now? i have not heard any news from it! find the god dam higgs already!

  • @boxingisbest Yeah, I'm kind of impatient too, but hey, we gotta wait, there's a lot of data to analize. Oh well...

  • So this is where our taxes go.......

  • @TranceXAdddicT This isn't even an American project. There was one planed to be in the United States however it was scrapped due to (ironically) not enough money.

  • @TranceXAdddicT Is there really many things better for it to go to?

  • @9hello123 Were in a depression retard .... yeah there is

  • @TranceXAdddicT Yeah, once again this isn't an American project. No there isn't.

  • @TranceXAdddicT And you're not even European. So no its not where your taxes go.

  • Didn't this thing break down?

  • how hard do you have to make these two protons to colide with eachother to create another univers, if that happens you would be destroying your self and your experiment and the world we live in. and there would be nobody alive to know if it worked because of such a big explosion would destoy us all. and another univers will exist with the one we already have, doesnt make any sence:0).

  • @myfavorittools instead of just making your personal conclusions without foundation, start learning physics so you get the proper fundaments to elaborate any valid conclusion or judgement.

  • Big Bang = Big Bullshit

  • @Gushanni LOL WHAAA?

  • @Gushanni lol... less of a bullshit then creation in the bible..

  • @Gushanni Go watch the 700Club then.

  • ..continued

They are not starting from NOTHING(use hydrogen) and they manipulate conditions(strip electrons and accelerate protons)

Energy cant be created. The energy (heat) they get from ultimately colliding the protons is equal or less 2 the energy they have used 2 accelerate the protons close 2 the speed of light.

On 30 March, 2010 the succeeded in colliding protons. Why did they only get energy? Where is the matter? Or as the scientist involved with the experiment call it “Stuff”

  • Please explain

The big bang theory basically sates that there was nothing. Then the big bang happened and that was the start of everything we see today.

    So why then:

    1. DO THEY NEED HYDROGEN atoms for starting the process

    2. and feed them in a CONTROLLED manor into the source chamber

    3. have to STRIP DOWN ELECTRONS

    4. to LEAVE ONLY PROTONS

    5. to be accelerate as close as possible to the SPEED OF LIGHT (A condition that did not existed before the big bang)

    continue....

  • In the science of the discworld the problem of eccess magic is solved using a machine. Just before the on switch is thrown the question of safety is raised. But, of course, no-one knows what will happen until the switch is thrown... I remember all the assurances from experts at cern... ,"no, there definately won't be any interdimensional worm-holes openning up... definitely..." Ha! what about the arrow of time? I never seem to keep any. Is it just me or is it getting expensive to earn money?

  • good for them... now does that cure any disease like cancer or stop anything that is DESTROYING OUR WORLD?

    I guess not.

  • Money wasted!!!!!!!!!!1 but at least something goood or for the betterment is happening.............who knows it might be the key to a whole new world

  • @upanshu123 which means money was not wasted.

  • they need to stop, they are like a monkey with a live 110 ac wire, the outcome of this is not good.

  • @trx125tracy69Explain yourself. Why is the outcome of this not good? Because it could possibly one day render the "God squads" theory that God created the world, useless? Lets not forget. When the men that created the Bible and the writings in it thousands of years ago.. They thought the earth was square. I guess those that discovered that its not should of listened to people like you telling them that the "outcome" of their journey is not going to be good.

  • @favoritemenu Square? they thought it was flat not square.

  • Yet still no evidence of true "big bang theory".

    You tried though . /o\

  • @immuneshade

It wont matter, pretty soon we will have a new telescope (newer than the James Webb) that can see all the way to the big bang..

  • @AntwonVonLederhosen Lol.... The day you show me the "big bang" I'll show you my penis. Till then GL

  • @immuneshade ...I don't want to see your "penis"..I prefer the female parts. Obviously you do not because you are willing to show other males your genitalia. Besides it wont matter because when someone builds the telescope and records the first images of what is thought to be the big bang...it's going to be ALL over the news.

  • @AntwonVonLederhosen Did the big bang theory tell you to say that too?

  • @immuneshade

...and what do you believe in? huh? "god"...yeah, that's a whole lot more probable..

  • @AntwonVonLederhosen I do believe in "GOD" has a lot more fact to it than little old big bang theory. You guys believe in "stuff" colliding together and making something entirely new? How about my fist colliding with your face that will make an entirely new face; that's what your machine is saying, is it not?

  • @immuneshade lol that was pretty funny. Also I really hope I read this right and youre trolling for shits and giggles otherwise my hopes in the American education system just died.

  • @CUjoBitME Pretty much bro... What the hell else is there to do on YouTube, play snake?

  • @immuneshade The difference is that science has proof while you just have an ancient book that you "believe" was written by its various authors and is the truth but the truth is that book could be all lies, you just don't know.

  • @AntwonVonLederhosen Have you ever heard of the dead sea scrolls or Noahs arc, or salt pillars, or the fertile crescent where the Garden of Eden was? You have a valid point, it could be all lies. But I would rather be on the right side of the spectrum than the wrong side. What benefit is there to believe in evolution? At least I know I may go to an eternal paradise, called Heaven.

  • @immuneshade Yes I have heard of all that, I grew up a catholic (this is mostly why I'm not a christian anymore lol)

The benefit to believing in evolution is that their (the people who believe in evolution) have pretty solid evidence to show "where we came from". Whereas people who just say "hey ok, ill believe that cause A LOT of people do and its what ive grown up to know and learn" believe that everything was created by one supernatural being. Although I'm not throwing "god" under a bus

  • @immuneshade because hey, at this point while somethings are more "believable" than others..anythings possible. Have you ever heard of the theory that were all just a program? If you haven't you should look it up its really interesting. But whoever is "running" us as a program could be "god". Sometimes I like to think about it being true and funny as in the computer running us as a program was called "god" and it was an acronym for something.

  • @AntwonVonLederhosen Isn't that called the matrix? ahah. I'll be honest I don't know anymore but for now I will just put my in faith in God. Us humans in general is just weird, my main question is, why?

  • @immuneshade Lol the Matrix...why are we here? I was thinking about that and my idea (one of em') is that lets say we are a computer program, maybe we're a program made by humans in "our program's future" and they human(s) running us are speeding up time to find something...like a cure..or salvation from an apocalypse

  • @immuneshade lol good luck with that, send me a post card when you reach that eternal paradise called heaven man, IDIOTS still believe in 3000 year old crap, that make no sense at all, faith on what, so you believe that your life is in control of some superior identity, please!!!!!! I believe in big bang, and we evolved from monkeys, at least we have some evidence on that, but faith???? lmao

  • @nicknicolosi1 How the FUCK would our WORLD be an ACCIDENT/BIG BANG. good one. I'm just trying to figure out. Why are we not still evolving? k Cool story man

  • @immuneshade so what you saying??? that God made the world in 6 days and bla bla bla bla????

NICE STORY just doesn't make any sense, so you think BIGBANG it's not possible and your bullshit old book with many many authors make more sense? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA LMAO, fanatics that's what all of you believers are, close fucking mind to ignorance, ready to reject any other possibility that probably will send your faith to go fuck it self. good luck

  • @immuneshade and it is true? isn't it?

  • @immuneshade the Hadron Collider has nothing to do with the existence of god or disproving it or for that matter the big bang doesn't have anything to do with that either. If the collider allows us to complete string theory it still doesn't disprove the existence of god. On the other hand it will put a bad taste in the mouth of people who believe the Earth was literally created in six days because it does have the potential to disprove that. Your comment did however make you sound like an idiot.

  • @ebooklibrary27 Ya cool story I'm done.

  • @ebooklibrary27 We have already disproved that the earth was not created in 6 days.

  • @ebooklibrary27 We have already disproved that the earth was created in 6 days. ***

  • i dont understand the retards against the hardon collider..

  • STOP WITH THE COMMERCIALS!!!!

  • hahah they can not proof the big bang couse its a theory that dosent exisist

  • @TRANQFORMERS

That's not what the evidence says.

  • @TRANQFORMERS

    Lol your a retard.

  • @TRANQFORMERS Maximum retardation

  • AND WHAT THE HECK DO YOU GET OUT OF THIS

  • AND WHAT THE HECK DO GET OUT OF THIS.

  • ZOMG THERES A BLACK HOLE IN MY ROOM!!! WHERES THE BLACK HOLE REPELLENT!!! jk... nothing happened lol

  • @ PianoMastR You are really lazy, aren't you?

  • @ PianoMastR You are really lazy, aren't you?

  • Did the event already take place? If it didn't, when will it? If it did, when did it? Where can i learn more about this? In other words what's the most reliable website to go to to learn more about this. Also what books can i read about it? thank you.

  • we wont make it till 2012 i wanna know how the universe was made now !! waaa

  • Can anyone answer my question?

The special theory of relativity says that we can't reach the speed of light because then everything will stand still, even time! It will not reach that speed, but when they runn it at full power it will be very close. The time will also go slower for the protons. How will the protons react to these elements, and how is it even possible when we know this?

I'm no expert on this, I just try to understand.

  • @MRmolde

Well just to kind of add to your "understanding" because I honestly don't know a WHOLE lot about it either.

Just keep in mind that time is a man made concept to organize events. And that the true reason it cant go the speed of light is because light has no mass. (or so it is said) and there is another theory that states you can't create or destroy (completely) mass from this universe. So making something that you can hold in your hand (has mass) and accelerating

  • @MRmolde it to the speed of light (making it have no mass) would theoretically be destroying mass..which is something you just cannot do.

  • look at the stats of this vid

  • Finally we will all be joined and equal in the black hole that will start a Cern, democracy at its finest -no matter the amount of money you got I'll be equal to you ,,soon

  • Are the results (if success) of this experiment going to be implemented in real life needs? Like, heating homes, fuel for transportation and the list goes on.

  • @tekknorat

"Are the results (if success) of this experiment going to be implemented in real life needs?"

The development of the LHC itself will be reflected into very high speed Internet, massive data centres and even more powerful computers. So yes the LHC will have massive influence on daily life just like CERN did when they made the Internet easier for everyone.

An experiment is also checking for using anti-matter for cancer treatment. MR scanners technology, cryogenics,...

  • @obaeyens when this experiment will end?

  • @SBelortaja

There is a planned upgrade of the LHC after 2012.

So it might be running way past 2015 or so.

I do not know ho many planned maintenance shut downs will be.

  • @SBelortaja

You have to understand that the search for the Higgs boson is only one experiment. There are many other hundreds of experiments that they are doing. One of such experiment is to use the generated anti-matter to bombard cancer cells. The flash of energy might destroy all neighbour but not destroy the other cells in the body since it disappear once in the flash.

  • @tekknorat

The simple fact that cern gets back about a three times the money spent on the technology they produce should be answer enough

  • "truth" about the supernatural? There is no supernatural - if you want to learn about reality , find out what's happening at places like the LHC. If you want fairy tales, then read some bronze-age book of desert fables or turn on some televangelist ( and of course, be ready to send your money to him).

  • @TheStringtheorysucks More BS from the mouth of your gob huh String?. I have this vision of you being a small gentleman with glasses, slightly tubby with a beard, I am right aren't I?. LIttle man, go back to your coffee and theories, I would crush you so easily for the sheer fun of it. When you have something solid/real other than a theory or backing of a theoractical machine such as the LHC to talk about, then do so. You are like I said a minority, be careful :).

  • @sambozauk Everything start with investigation, have you ever hear the phrase: You need to know from where you came from to know where you are going?

Im just a normal person and I think they are doing a really great job in the CERN. I mean who knows what the LHC is able to bring us in the foture? Sorry for my bad english but I think that THE MAYORITY really belive that the only way to go ahead is to look for new technologies.

  • @angelmperez1 Yes I believe we need to always look into new technologies, but there is little about really what CERN is about, in all honesty. I think what annoys me most of all though is this obsession that scientists have with Stephen Hawking as the do or end of science, when there are regular people who are considerably more intelligent than he will ever be. His theories are outlandish and severely flawed, I mean we could all make up theories like he has it is not exactly difficult.

  • @sambozauk let me hear that theory of yours

  • @TheStringtheorysucks My apologies about my language toward you in a previous comment it was unjustified and unfair of me to make such an arrogant remark. I think what I am trying to say is, that they will never know regardless of how advanced humans get.The theories they shove around are always flawed and are always being changed, which means they just do not know and are never likely to know. Fairy-tales is what Stephen Hawking theories are about in my eyes, the guy annoys me as he does many.

  • Also off the ball here a bit,Stephen Hawkings who backs this LHC with all his theories,is not the most intelligent person on the planet like so many seem to think the guy is.I can assure you very much there are far more intelligent persons in this world, regular people who are way above him.Being in a wheel chair giving us theories with a cyborg computer voice does not impress me pal, and whilst I am at it, stop influencing scientists to waste our money, its not yours to piss up the wall.Cheers!

I'd much rather listen to what Hawking has to say than to some dumb-ass wanker like you.
