He's no Baryshnikov. Stylistically perfect perhaps, but every move he makes looks like preparation for the next one. There should be more acting. He's beautiful, yes, but hardly emotional.
@TragicAlice No his style is not like Baryshnikov's but he is one of today's most talented and graceful and athletic dancers who has his own unique gift. Roberto does carefully set up and prepare for his moves but then so did Baryshnikov, so does every great dancer. Unbridled, energy and emotion without proper preparation leads to injury and early retirement. It also produces some clumsy klutzy dancing.Roberto can never be accused of that. Not your cup of tea perhaps but the man can dance.
@intelegentable And Baryshnikov's technique was quintessentially Russian, as well. Bolle trained primarily with the Italian method, from what I gather.
this is the second time I've seen him dance in this video and it's still refreshing to see his interpretation, making this dance his own, his ethereal, smooth, and classic style - it's hard to blink and miss a fraction of a second of his heart and soul.
@EROSGODOFGAYS Your blurbs about an artist I happen to like watching kind of get in the way is all. I mean as a person who keeps uploading fanvids, you're commentaries get in the way of my surfing times :P
You think him Godlike and that is cool. But your obscure, repeated, reference to same is kind of grating.
@WickedMuse And you think that YT is just for your own enjoyment? You think that anyone gives a shit about what you think or your "surfing" times? Go fuck yourself dude and give yourself a little pleasure! Your ass probably needs a good cleaning anyway 'cause you got shit for brains.
@EROSGODOFGAYS Yes, youtube is most amusing. 'cept for when it's irritating.
I am probably just voicing what others have thought and am giving you feedback. Why are you so touchy about this? Everyone's entitled to their opinion. Yours is just vague and nonsensical. Therefore it puzzles me. Have a nice life random person you. Jeez, troll much :P
@EROSGODOFGAYS Not everyone's into BDSM I suppose, but then, as someone who'd obviously homosexual, who are you to judge? And WTF has this got to do with ballet, RB or my point?
@WickedMuse Look asshole, you replied to my posted comment and called me "weird". Go fuck yourself asshole and give yourself some pleasure. Along with being an asshole, you obviously are a "BIGOT". What is this you say: "who's obviously homosexual, who are you to judge?" I am proud of being homosexual. YOU should be ashamed of being both a bigot and a shit filled asshole!
sorry. if may be you are interested in my opinion I can try ti write it in english.
Bolle is only too beatufill and too talented but he has not the magnitude charisma of Nureyev the versatile acting of Barishinov and the sane energy ov Vassiliev. He will never feel the dar side of the...ballet. I live it to the young who yield for fantastic body and nothing else. May be the in some way life will teach him to suffer and not only to be e noble dancer. Any way many wish
Gli mancjerà sempre the dark side of the balleT.
From what I know of this production, I think it's either the Paris Opera or La Scala in Milan. I'm leaning towards La Scala, but I don't know the year.
