@therockhouse First of all Rusty said "The lydian position" He cannot be more wrong.Modes aren't positions.And Gambale is not playing on 1 key rock/metal tracks he has been playing 25 years with Chick Corea's electrik Band on some of the craziest harmonies on the world.Anyone can shred on a static harmony try it on Stella by starlight Ha :D i can think of hand full of guitarists that can do that Gambale,Holdsworth,Mclaughlin,­Benson
