Einfarbig ist es nicht langweilig. Überleg dir mal wie viele LEDs das sind: 8*8*8=512 LEDs!!!!!

Wenn man jetzt auch noch RGB LEDs verwendet muss man schon 3mal mehr anschließen.

Und 1536 LEDs einzelnt ansteuer ist wohl schwer. (Nicht unmöglich aber riesiger aufwand)

It's possible to have the source code of the project? I make my own led cube but it's drived by parallel port and your code doesn't fit with it. I need only the part that drive the cube, the animation on the screen is not necessary. Please help me...

If you need "just" the cube-driver... Do you have anything like a microcontroler? I made the experience, that the computer's parallel port is to slow for animations.

And the part that drives the cube will only fit for my cube (connected by Ethernet)

I drive my cube using 8+1 shift register drived by 6 pins of parallel port (if you like I can send you the schematic). I need the code that "say" the value of any single bar of audio level meter. After I have my own code that can send the information to the cube. The problem for me is only to find the value of the 8 bars.. can you help me?

No, I can only program with C or VB.. . Pascal is a problem for me.. But.. I have just resolved the problem using another open source music player...Thanks for "help"...

du hasts ganz gut getroffen und evlt. mach ich mir auch die mühe nen 8er zu bauen.
