@Ronaldvdb81 Eh I don't know if it could be done tho. The glass would have to be pretty thick and that may complicate other portions of the helicopter. For most helicopters, auto-rotation is the best way to prevent serious crashes, at least during engine failure.

Are you fuckin stupid? There's these little things called rotor blades and they are right above the pilots. Eject and hit the blades above you, great idea, you fucking moron.

Also, generally, you don't put ejection seats on civilian aircraft. Pilots need to focus on training and being better pilots and less on safety features that potentially could kill them and others. @ValhallaOrBust85 hadn't the RAF put ejekter seats on some of there choppers (the blades blew off when the man ejected) but scraped it cos a few roters failed to eject and i think one randomly faild......... If you look at the background and at the trees you can see that the wind is blowing very heavy and that if the helicopter was to heavy, it would be extreamly hard to fly, thus involving a lot of thrust to push against the air.

Close, the cause of this acident was a fuelclog in one of the engines. Thus, don't blame the pilot!

If I had to guess the cause, aside from pilot error, and since the controls look functional, I would have to say either a Bleed Air issue, an FCU issue, or a droop compensation issue, or plain old fashion too heavy. Looks like the pilot realised he might not have been able to clear the trees and opted for the scenic route.

You people are full of crap.How can you be critical of something that's staring you in the face. These small twin turbines are a favorite heli to get a twin rating. So ,very often, they are being flown by unfamiliar operators. The lift off and manoevering is relatively unremarkable. Now watch carefully at :58, just to the right of the larger tree. Yes that is the tail boom snapping off and falling down. The resulting push up from the rotor toppled the heli. Not pilot error ,mechanical failure.

Alos, the helicopter looks heavily loaded and seems not to be able to lift off properly. The pilot then decide to try anyway and goes for speed. But there is no proper space to do that. The main rotor even hits the trees. This still could not be control failure, pure stupidity from the pilot.

This crash is really weird. All I can think of is that it is not a control failure, but instead a pilot error. In fact, a whole bunch of pilot errors.

First off, in the beginning, why is he/she drifting to the left (and slightly backwards)? The pilot has no idea of where the tailrotor is. That is just a VERY bad pilot judgement. If it was a control failure, a normal pilot would set it down on the ground immediately.

It could have been a mechanical error, but it wasn't. If it would have been the pilot should have had the heli on the ground long before they flew down the street that is made for CARS. Mechanical failures do happen but they don't make people right after taking off fly down streets.
