Well, what happened in 1999 is that the US army bombed the Chinese embassy in Yugoslavia "by mistake" (3 killed and many injured). No surprise Chinese are so anti-American at that time.

As one who has known Dr. Pillsbury since we were both 18 at Stanford, I can assure you I have never ever heard him say he was a Pillsbury flour heir. In fact, he has always said the contrary when asked directly. His family was in ranching and insurance, and he worked summer jobs just like most of the rest of us. This is the result of the failure to correct a "flattering lie" in circulation.

Nobody said his family doesn't have money. They do. And Mike has had no dependents and an expense account for many years working as a DOD and Congressional staff consultant. You apparently know him well enough to dislike him. That should be independent from whether he has inherited wealth and where he got it.

Never saw the guy until this video, but certainly don't like what I read about this guy. The picture I have of 'Mike' is literally of a "merchant of deaths". No family fortune can support a guy's lavish lifestyle for decades without additional incomes. "Mike" benefited from global arms race with big $.

You re forgetting that US saved China's ass in WWII with the war against Japan. China helping to defeat USSR? What was the North-South korea conflict about then? China was basicly the supplier of North Korea and still is its best partner. China got closer ties with US but that was all.
