@FlamingGamerz Crysis 2 is basically the next part, but we dont know what happens right after crysis 1, because prophet goes back to the island. Crysis 2 just starts off with prophet in new york so we dont exactly know what happened before. Its like a massive piece missing in the storyline. Crysis Warhead is also at the same time as Crysis 1, you're just playing as psycho instead of nomad to see his side of the story. Thats where you saw him beating that korean up.

@BurningReaper16 he said that Crysis (the first one) was too complex for PS3 and XBOX. the maps were huge sandbox levels than the processors on consoles wouldn't be able to handle. Combined with the graphic levels of Crysis 1, an XBOX or PS3 MIGHT be able to play the equivalent of Crysis 1 on lowest settings. Crysis 2 wasn't sandbox-style, the maps were technically linear. Although they did a good job pulling it off as bigger maps than you think

that part of the game is just magical, a lot of people say that crytek sacrificed gameplay for graphics. And it's true, the graphics are so good sometimes when you're trying to kill an alien or a korean soldier you get distracted with the sun rays creating a beautiful spectrum of light when they get filtered by the amazing looking foliage and then you die. But in all seriousness, the first time I played Crysis it was in a shitty laptop at minimum system settings, and I loved it anyway so...

I am aware that the hardware is no longer top of the line but the way I look at it is My 2006 PS3 can run 2011 games beautifully can your 2006 computer do that? ( no hardware updates). The hardware is not by any means maxed out, on PS3 anyway. Even the 360 hasn't been fully tapped yet (although very close 90% or so) The hardware on PS3 still has tones of potential.

@Vicc125 Skyrim is a console port to PC so if Skyrim was developed for PC in fist hand it wouldn't look the same on consoles. It appears that Battlefield 3 is also a console port. Just look at Crysis 2 with DX11 and high res texture upgrade, it impossible to achieve that on current consoles. I hate that the game companies a fucking PC user over by destroying these great games that originally was developed for PC. Most console games look like crap on PC when you play at very high resolution.

@utltrarama Battlefield 3 is a PC game, the console versions will be a port from the PC (at least that's how it seems.. look up on google battlefield 3 port). Battlefield 3 is all out for PC it seems, dx11 , 64 player support only on PC, infinite fps on PC and 30fps cap on console. It's one of my most anticipated games this year.

Crysis 2 is actually crapper than than the first two as they wanted to make sure the game could be sold on consoles for a wider audeince. The new versions of the first two games will be using the newer but strangly crapper cryengine 3.

If you mean Crysis 2, this more like a separate story with some elements from the original story in Crysis like the character Prophet. But just go ahead and play Crysis 2. Best would be though that you played from the first Crysis, Crysis Warhead and then Crysis 2 to get the grip of the whole story.

If Crysis 2 was so above the standard graphics of the period in which it's realeased 3 things would happen: There would be no console version; A lot of PC's would be melted (again).; PC gamers would get permanent orgasms.

No. I found out that in Warhead we are (as you know psycho) and he brought alien thing on USS Carrier, and in first.

Look whole warhead is about looking for container with alien. In ending of Crysis 1 nomad is on USS Constitution and they said that one of piltos brought it (alien body) here. It was O'neil (I think) and psycho.

@MNiTFTW They totally changed the story in Crysis 2, Nomad didn't die neither did Psycho. Prophet kills him self in Crysis 2 but the enemy doesn't know that so you take the role of Prophet. I bought Crysis 2 and whole game concept of Crysis is almost changed, kind of sad that they changed it so much. I will upload a short gameplay video soon from Crysis 2, more will come later on.

Agree, the only similarities are the Nanosuit and the Aliens...The PC version is decent, not as good as crysis 1 and crysis warhead but it looks ok, the console version is just a big pile of low resolution textures, almost 0 AA and AF hidden by blur lol (and still low fps) I remember playing it on the Xbox360, I played for 5 minutes or so and the first trophy you win is called "Can it run crysis?" I imediately thought "well obviously not" because what I was playing was not Crysis.

@guyfeigin Crysis Warhead is the opposite side of the Crysis story. When you play Crysis as Nomad, you always hear what Psycho is doing on his missions and all the stuff that he's finding out, in Warhead, you play him and his story line along side the originals story line...

Lol sweet! I couldn't seethe ending on my game, because I kept falling through the FUCKING deck during the last boss. There were so many glitches it drove me insane. And the more time's I tried, the more invisible holes there with in the carrier deck, so I eventually gave up and never saw that ending.... lol til now (That was like two years ago LOL)
