It's interesting that Derik is used for the fun of other people, and yet he probably doesn't understand that.Is it moral and ethic to take advantage of someone that has a serious mental condition(even if this comes along with a gift)?Did he approved to be recorded and aired on youtube?I have a hunch, and I think we all know the answer.

@dncviorel He clearly loves to play, and I’m sure he understands that people enjoy hearing him play… and loves that too.

He looks very happy to do these videos, even if he doesn’t understand how it all works.

Would you prefer it if he wasn’t allowed to play publicly because it might be unethical?

@calvin3005 De doesn't even know his own name, he doesn't know the difference between 2 and 3, ofcourse is unethical, he has no self awareness, no discernment.People record him, do tv shows with him.Ok, he is brilliant, that's great, but don't record him and don't earn money or any other image income by using Derek.Audience and piano make Derek happy, and that's obvious, but I'm pretty sure that he doesn't understand what a movie is, or what money are.

@dncviorel your comment is ignorant and not based on anything other than your uniformed opinions. You have spent how many days hanging out with Derek, to be able to say he has "no self-awareness." From what I can see he seems happy and extremely well-adjusted, and he has been doing something he loves, making more friends than most of us will ever have, traveling the world, and he's incredibly talented and making a lot of people happy. You are searching hard to invent negatives.

First off, amazing as always! Great job Derek. Now, I know it's a long shot but in his segment on 60minutes he was asked to play Fur Elise as though Mozart wrote it. I was wondering if he would be willing to play the entire piece. If not it's ok, still an awesome job.
