Great job folks, you really put it together nicely! I agree the balance could have been weighted more toward the vocals but that's easily fixable in a mixer?

For the other commenters:

They are singing it in B, which is the original key, but the guitar is tuned about a quarter-step sharp, which might explain why it sounds like a different key.

As for chords, I've transcribed the sheet music to this song (follow link in my profile) or blimix has a tab on his page (google blimix dr horrible).

Yeah, the guitar I am using in this song has a broken tuning key so it's kind of stuck, otherwise I would have fixed it.

The song is not too difficult to pick up. Honestly I thought this one was easier than most of the songs in the whole production.

The guitar is far too loud. Maybe i dont understand a thing, but IMO voice is solo instrument not rythm guitar. :) but singers was quite ok. thumbs up!

Yeah. That was one of the best covers of On the rise I've heard.

The guy can indeed sing; his voice has a very smooth quality to it that works just right for the character of Billy and this song. Very NPH-y! His harmonizing just needs work, that's all. And those high notes. Not easy to harmonize and play guitar at the same time.
