I absolutely adore this song. I remember hearing Angel Youth years and years ago and I can't for the life of me figure out why I stopped listening to this band.

I was recently going through an old playlist I created back in like 2000 and it contained some of my old favorite bands (including Last Days of April). It was like discovering some of those bands all over again and it reminds me how great the mid 90's-early 2000's Indie, Post-Hardcore, Emo scenes were. I hate the labels put on terrible music now, especially when people use the word Emo without knowing it's meaning or roots. I seriously miss those days. Angel Youth is by far their best album too.

theres the proof, im a fan of fightstar and enjoy their version, possibly because i heard it first, BUT i will rekognize the talent behind the original, even if fightstars version delights me more, its all personal opinion.

this song is awesome. i used to hear about last days of april like ten years ago, when i was obsessed with blink182, no use for a name etc..

but now, ten years after, i just love their stuff, especially this song.

this group makes you feel something with everyone of their songs.

Very much before their time and very much in their own realm of musical genre.

Every song of theirs really pulses with a strong sense of life.

It's as if the lyrics and instruments are coming out of a heavy fog or mist.

I think this band is a huge precursor to bands like Muse..

Also Deep Elm Records is an epic lable in my opinion.

Benton Falls is one of my all time favorite bands, which unfortunately broke up.

Deep Elm Records, check em out. I'm not a 'plant' just a serious music fan.

Ah I know a cover of this song which I prefere more than this...

When I found out that the cover was not the original I wanted to listen to the original (which is this one), I hated it, it was too slow..

But now (two years later) I accidentally came to this vid here and I've to say I prefer the cover still much more BUT I've to admit that this is really cool.

But oh well the ppl who first listened to the original and/or don't know/like the band that covered it, will make clear....
