my psp finds the game and all but when i load the game (the game is little big planet) it shows Sackboy with his hands in the air but then the computer makes a noise like it disconnected and then the command prompt says it connected again. then the psp is at a black screen that says "please wait..."

Well not all games will work and maybe that game what you are trying to test already uses USB port for some functions. Try to test another game to see if it works.
