  • God bless those good people who made The Arrivals.

  • Sooo Sooo Deep

  • @rtaha93 It is about the futility of immortality. All three stories show that trying to escape death, for oneself or others, gets more and more costly and is ultimately impossible.

  • the explosion of emotion in this music is beyond human understanding.... I always listen to clint mansell when I work on my artwork among others, and it shows.

  • @abstractArt77 I completely agree... music like this provokes a certain state of mind in me.. which often makes me more creative and expressive than normal

  • This is Music Lucifier afraid of :D

  • looks like the ff8 intro ^^

  • This song just makes me appreciate all the beauty that there is to be had in this universe. It helps me forget about all the bullshit that plagues our sociaties, poverty, starvation, wars, greed... All interrelated... But this, this makes me appreciate the simple bloom of a flower, the rotation of the earth introducing the sunlight from the east... All the things that are beautiful...

  • the music only appears sad if you take it in while experiencing sadness. my 1 year old daughter likes this so i guess its all figurative.

  • @guillermodiego2105 It's actually the beach at Surfers Paradise, Gold coast Australia! As I took that picture aha

  • lolfags

  • @VomitShovel Behold, the most skilled ninja.

  • as this song continues and will always exist, you realise that....you wont. your death is a fact and nothing can change that. the only thing we can do, is try to get, as much as possible, out of life and then go.....to the better world to understand......why we existed. and if we just appear in an eternal darkness forever, just like sleeping, we will always have our memories with us. the good ones......and the bad ones. .....so, dont be afraid of death....because you dont know what is waiting.

  • I heard this clip from the illuminati.

  • That's a beach in Mexico, its called Playa del Carmen... :)

  • is it ok to cry? and feel like everything has crashed around u ? :( :(((

  • @xxXsTreamxx It is very ok to cry and feel how it all hurts. See and feel the pain and darkness; learn from them. But Do not trap yourself in the pain and darkness. Lift your eyes to the dawn, as it will come; learn from the hurt. Just know the darkness of your soul doesn't own you now.

well bro, i know it wasn t her.... it was her stepmother.. well. we re gonna make it work :) anyway,,,thanks again, great piece of art xD

  • Comment removed

  • @m22dj Do not trouble yourself with the brief presence, young one. Look forward to the bright future, still ahead of you. IF she has left you, then clearly she does not value you. Again, do not let the clouds blur your vision. Stand tall and rise your head.

  • @xxXsTreamxx the song is above your shitty issues, physicality, materialism, sex and shit. so shut the fuck up.

  • @zulquarnainanwar

do you have to be so mean, motherfucker

  • @xxXsTreamxx suck my big head dick mate, or shut the fucking bitch up!

  • @zulquarnainanwar

typical ape from new zeeland , go make a haka or something, or go find some1 to satisfy u , jerk

  • @xxXsTreamxx i got your mom bitch

  • @xxXsTreamxx Also I would recommend listening to healing music like that of Ani Choying Drolma (her "Kyamdro Semkye" for instance. It may soothe you. Be well.....

  • @birthofeternity

it's ok we got back together ,some story ...

    thank u for advise..

  • @xxXsTreamxx You are welcome.

  • Why do people tend to argue about religion, philosophy, intelligence, and government on such beautiful songs like this? It just doesn't make sense to me.

  • @Valladaresvidz its the duality of life, yin and yang , positive and negative , comparison, without comparison we would not learn . to appreciate the good we must experience the bad , then chose which you prefer to be in , free will .universal law .most people want the same things in life when you get to the nuts and bolts of it, peace & harmony , some just don't relies it yet .life is about learning, experiences and discovering ones true self . the Gnostic's knew the secret (freedom)

  • im a music newbie but is the background beat atleast until 2:00 the blues progression? i remember hearing this beat b4

  • this is not sad... is just beautiful

  • i want this as a trance song!

  • I would make a movie just for having a Clint Mansell song on its soundtrack list.

  • Wow, my ocmments keep failing.

I DONT CARE ABOUT THE ARRIVALS.

And I dont care about your religion. Stop spamming it on clint mansell's songs.

  • FUCK THE ARRIVALS.

I don't care about your religion or whatever cult you're in. Im here for good music.

  • @haiiliekpie fuck off bitch , who care if you care about awer religion you asshole , so fuck you and everyone like you

  • @haiiliekpie yeah and fuck you too

  • i love this song . i can destress and i have more ( hope ? ) ?

  • truly stunning in beauty this music

  • im seriously thinking about playing this on my funeral

  • @devilsmurf me too

  • Laaaa Amooooooo :(

  • brak słów... brak słów... są niepotrzebne...

  • This music always makes me sad and scared :(..

    But I love it...

  • The arrivals...best series EVERRR!!!

  • @fuzy04 the arrivals is a good series in the sense that it wakes you up but it has its negative attribute of fear. but of course, the truth is sometimes scary and sometimes stranger than fiction. take the good aspect of it and just remember whats most important - love.

  • @PokinTheAllSeeingEye Agreed indeed on the point of love. However i do fear God's punishment more than the secret societies and all their planning and twisting and controlling stunts....All will be revealed soon but i only fear God's displeasure at our selfish and heedless ways as humans towards each other and above all that heedlessness towards God himself. But i salute your point on LOVE! :)

  • @fuzy04 Do you mean that series that has like 60 parts to it?

  • great..................... from algeria

  • I feel we all need teachers at some period of life and to teach and open eyes someone. This is how nature works. I hate job and way of life today. Sometimes i lock inside house to be in silent and enjoy in loneliness. This music is so beautifully.

  • Today I realized that my boyfriend was cheating on me =(

    I'm hurt , I can't even breath

Just listening to this song torn me apart

  • @Nabiha23

    Stay strong. It will past.

  • @Nabiha23 stay away from sad music (especially at a time like this), itll only make you worse(you probably know that already). i was depressed a while ago and i was listening to music like this and i didnt get any better in fact i was getting addicted to sad music and i started being more attached to negative emotions. it wasnt the music that drove me in that direction, it was obviously me but music sure does have its power.

i hope you cheer up and get better soon (if you havent already)

  • @PokinTheAllSeeingEye for ever action is a reaction

  • @PokinTheAllSeeingEye this isnt really sad. have u listened to the piano thing in "the new world" fuck the piece alone makes me cry

  • @PokinTheAllSeeingEye

well right now..i have been dumped too like 3 days ago.. as ussual i am left :( so right now we are same...

  • @PokinTheAllSeeingEye So tell me why I am happy in about 95% of time considering the fact that music I listen to is like 50:50 sad:happy ... yes, music has a huge influence, but not greater than the influence of your own mind. Music cannot be blamed. People should blame themselves first.

  • @PokinTheAllSeeingEye i believe i went throught the same. but i like this kind of music it reminds me of the mountains which i love.

  • @PokinTheAllSeeingEye Music has incredible power over the mind. Put on a fast song and drive an empty highway, then put on a slow song and drive the same stretch. Your times will differ greatly (unless you're just a natural speed monkey). Thats just one example, and its a *direct* consequence of the music you're listening to.

If you're depressed, you can try psyching yourself on happy music. When I was having a tough time I tried it. Not a cure, but its a nice temp measure.

  • @PokinTheAllSeeingEye I was at the same point and sometimes I still welcome the sadness and depression only because I enjoy it. I realize it helps me understand human emotion better. But honestly its still kinda sad on my part..

  • @XinisterSound I feel ya. I think sometimes it's important to embrace your darkness/depression instead of trying to push it away. If we stay with it and darken the darkness, as painful as it may be, there's a gift to despair. It deepens you.

  • @PokinTheAllSeeingEye I like feeling sad. It makes me feel human

  • @PokinTheAllSeeingEye Knowledge takes its toll on the psyche, as I'm sure you already noticed.

  • @PokinTheAllSeeingEye

i respect your opinion, but I totally disagree with you

you limit your view heavily if you see this as sad music

its compassion, hope, its a story, its love, its friendship, music is so deep my man.

it is only up to the ones that see it.

i do hear sadness in this, but not everlasting sadness

    i hope you understand.

  • @mojo1994 great respectful and informative comment, A VERY RARE THING ON YOUTUBE ANYMORE good stuff

  • @PokinTheAllSeeingEye

I understand what you meant here....I am going thru the same phase...right now.....But Listening to this classical piece makes you want to yearn more from life....Music has its own power to heal and to also to make oneself kill....it is human in nature...

  • @Nabiha23 i hope you will be one day smiling :) and be happy

(sorry my english is not perfect)

  • @Nabiha23

I m so sorry...i hope you are allright!

i myself am abit hurt..but not cuz of my gf...we re ok.. it's that her family don t quite like me..especially her sister..keep pushing her away from me :( and this song makes me... so *sigh*

but in end i know it will pass! cuz time heals everything...

  • I know nothing, I don't pretend to have any answers to life, I haven't found any universal truth, but I enjoyed the beauty of this song!

  • even thou your video isnt the best.

it has some crazy magic in it when i hear this song.

maybe its because you made it from you heart.

    keep up the good work

  • It helps to use proper grammar and spelling when attempting to sound intellectual or knowledgeable on a subject. Only in this day and age do people think they can enlighten anyone or make any sort of impact by leaving a ridiculously obtuse comment on a youtube video. Here's a classic example of what a "comment" should look like.

"I thoroughly enjoyed that song. Good choice."

    "Fucking badass! Loved it."

"Don't know what I'd do without Clint Mansell."

  • one of the best songs of all time

  • You know what the best part was? 0:00 to 5:35. :D

  • Good Evening..I was sent by THE ARRIVAL..!!!

  • @witdak LOOOOOL ME TOO

  • @witdak LOOOOOL ME TOO

  • @TheFAHADQ8 LOL good stuff

  • Oh ffs, what is it with Clint Mansell vids and ridiiculous, pretentious top rated comments?

  • @cupboardyful

    lol

  • @cupboardyful THANK YOU!

you bring stringed instruments into a fucking place where people can talk, and you get a bunch of bullshit spiritual stoner fucks preaching paradoxes and vividly realized impossibilities.

    bunch of jackasses.

  • this makes me want to sit down on the beach, listen to this song, and hwen it's over, I'll just swim and never come back

  • @XblacksocksX you'll drown

  • @sovietops that makes it a spectacular swimming timez. yes?^^

  • @XblacksocksX lol if ur into that sort of thing. either way great song

  • @XblacksocksX ummm ok then

  • @XblacksocksX One word.. Lol

  • @barnzy2302 that, kind sir, are three :P

  • I often write to his music. It brings out pure creativity and provides such inspiration. He truely is a musical genious.

  • It reminds me of the Great Expeditions to the new world.

Imagine, being a Conquistador. Going into an unknown jungle, climbing to the peak of an Aztec pyramid, then finding the tree of life with it's roots growing through the temple itself, you are the only left in an unknown world. It would feel as if God had struck you with an immortal blade, I cannot imagine what the Conquistador's found in the amazon. They're still finding bone's and armor.

I wonder what they really saw ..

  • @FeverMutt sounds like the map of counterstrike of aztec

  • @jinkis4 Yep.

  • @FeverMutt what did the Conquistadors find? an opportunity to exploit another civilization

  • Surreal...love it

  • Clint was definitely on some potent shit. This is pure genius.

  • Why is everyone arguing the existance of god? This song doesn't have to be about anything but what you see in it. If you see god in it then that's what it is. If you see a loved one than that's what's in it, etc. This song is beautiful and whatever you want it to be about and beautify, that's what it should be to you. Personally, to me, it's about my pet hamster. He's a deep motherfucker. I just play this shit and watch him get on that wheel. That's just me. :)

  • @bigstabby Lol, that's pretty bad ass man. I totally agree with you that it could be reminiscent of whatever you like. It's PERSONAL. But the problem I have is when people take those PERSONAL thoughts/beliefs/memories and try to project them onto this video/music and then talk about it like it is undeniable, universally present stuff. Then they have the nerve to preach to you about how you are missing something out of life if you don't see what they have projected it to be....like they know you.

  • @crawlthruknives Yep. Whatever they believe must be a fact. It's silly, gaudy, rude behavior they haven't let go of since childhood. One of the things I like about Clint is there are no lyrics or words to tell you what his music is about. Because it's just about emotion.

  • @bigstabby Exactly. It's emotive music. Very passionate. It brings out the thoughts and feelings you have about whatever you are personally passionate about. If it's God, that's cool. To each their own. Just don't go and pass judgment on others, whom you don't even know, for not seeing stuff that isn't explicitly there. That is ignorant and an impossible standard to impose. If you don't see what they see or feel what they feel, then you are flawed. That's rubbish. Clint is the man either way!

  • @crawlthruknives couldn't possibly agree more friend. :)

  • Nice~♥

  • This is so beautiful. I feel so in touch with everything around me, inspiration and beautiful ideas flow like golden water into my mind, I can see beyond the grey, tattered veil of this world into something better and right, where preservation and love come above progress and debts owed.

The last minute of this song resonates like ripples over a lake of tears, joy and sorrow mixed in equal part.

    Clint Mansell, thank you.

  • @Digit11701121 you just won the biggest tool on the internet award.

  • @LoganTrigger ermmm... why?

  • As I watch listen to this song, along with all of the other masterpieces Clint Mansell has blessed us with, it makes me think. Only as I listen to Clint Mansell, do all my troubles seem miles away, and all the chaos in the world seems to fade away. Only then, can you truly harness the meaning of what life really is.

  • This is the closest we will get to taste music from the heavens, only glass, zimmer of recent composers that make one feel in touch your spirit.

  • life, death, suffering, the universe, divinity. not very often does a song predispose me to all these avenues of thought at once. you think you got it all right, listen to Clint Mansell and realize you got it all wrong.

  • Great music has spiritual value.

  • Get right with God.

  • don't worry, songs like these don't need fancy video effects... just listening to this sweet music does the job...

  • haha at that the start i couldn't tell if picture was moving or not

  • @ViViD4i Same Here, Cint Mansell is a Genius

  • Genius

  • Truly great music.

If there was one artist I wanted to listen to while tripping, it would be Clint Mansell for sure.

  • Clint Mansell is a beast. Enough said?

    LMAO... seriously, though.

  • Beautiful. If Mother Nature was a musician, he would produce this. Also fittingly linked so an enlightening film.

  • haha, if "MOTHER" Nature was a musician, "HE" would produce this. I thought that was kind of funny.

    great song anyhow

  • well spotted

  • ...

  • You guys are so right, this awesome piece of music makes me want to wipe my ass with glass!

  • @DDB993

    hahahahaha

  • Its... stunning. It makes me want to cry and fade away, even if i dont know where this place will be. But i cant...

  • foberi douleia eleni.doulepses me ena para polu wraio soundtruck mia para polu wraias tenias bravo!

  • Clint Mansell, one of the greatest living composers. Close your eyes, lean back in your chair, and let your imagination run wild.

  • this guy is too good...

  • This shit is unreal

it makes go into phases of deep thought and perplexual pondering on everything around me.

    Its like intellectual weed!

  • Das Meer und diese Musik macht mich glücklich!

  • The answers have always been, and always will be inside of you. The outside is merely a reflection of the inner world, and you are merely a co-creator of the greater Creation You are a fragment, expression of the origin, and that Origin is infinite and never limited in it's thoughts or love for all that is. It learns from it's own creations, because it IS it's own creations. It seeks to understand itself, as we do- because it is infinite, as we are. When you realize this.Truth shall set you free

  • blew my fucking mind compadre - kudos to you...

  • @cloud0123 Shhhhhh

  • good psych eval dr. phil... lol

  • @cloud0123

well said! got me thinking :)

  • @Gulielmi87 it's what I love for :)

  • @cloud0123 the only real truth, truly, is that whatever knowledge you have, you will never truly be free, until you retire this existence of flesh and vision.if ever one is able to act on what he has come to understand, and if that newfound insight into the true reality can so be acted upon, perhaps we will be fortunate enough that he will show us the way out of ignorance. that will be the day of great happiness. or if i learn how to fly but hey, who's countin

  • @cloud0123 Im sorry but, I really have to copy that one.

    Pure genius comment.

  • @Hollyweed1 thanks guys :P

  • @cloud0123 dang u r amazing with words and wisdom ...wow u rock..!

  • @cloud0123 Never have I before read something so beautiful. I admire you and the way you think.

  • @cloud0123

sorry i dont agree with you

  • @cloud0123 SOOO superficial ;-)

  • @MikeLtheSoulChild I never said I claimed to know the answers. Thanks for calling me superficial. It's only superficial to you because you probably only saw the surface of the meaning. Which is the sign of a superficial person :)

  • @cloud0123 please notice the eye blinking smiley, it was ironic! However, what you wrote is very much open to interpretation, e.g. should I understand it as a solipsist view? when you mention truth, but deny the outer world, you reject the correspondence theory, so what notion of truth do you propose, Heideggerian? eastern? what? talking about an origin who's infinite in thought and love I assume you God or something similar like Brahman maybe, but the existence of such a being seems presupposed

  • @MikeLtheSoulChild and if it's beyond the physical world within which I'm created, how is it possible for me to even realize it, when cognition stops with language and language can't capture anything beyond the physical world? calling something god doesn't make it god, it's just an empty word without a reference. I'm sorry I have to waste your time with these superficial questions, but I guess that's my fate being superficial and all!

  • @MikeLtheSoulChild you have a wrong definition for god, god exists ..... you don't feel space or taste it but you know it exists

  • @esmaelooo that's a really week argument for God, as a matter of fact it's a flawed logic, cause it's physical properties (space too), God isn't, and since we are physical beings limited to an understanding of the physical realm, we can never capture the metaphysical realm, therefore God can always only be a belief not a fact. Why is that? cause language is limited it can only denote apsects of the physical world, cause we have no way of checking with the metaphysical world if there is such!

  • @MikeLtheSoulChild i.e. God is a word, which is basically a sound made up of some symbols, but that doesn't mean it has a referent i.e. that it refers to something with an actual ontological status. Cause if that's your logic then everything can be true, devils, hell-beings, angles, trolds, unicorns etc and how is it that you know that there's only one god? because a book written 2000years (or later if you are a hindu) ago said so? But what is God to you, u must have an idea since u use the word

  • @MikeLtheSoulChild if my arguement is weak then your mind is weak as well because you want an explanation of everything that you can't actually explain god isn't a believe it is true as all the universe exists ..you are attached so much to the material that you neglect the very purpose of your existence . humans did not exist by coincidence .. if we are only linked to the physical realm then why through out history all of mankind had a belief of god even if it was a pajjan belief ?

  • @esmaelooo You completely misunderstood everything I said, The point is exactly that we can't get an explanation for everything because we're limited beings. Why a Belief in God throughout history? because we've lived in a communities for ages, in order for a community to thrive it needs stability, therefore it needs laws, but in order for people not to break the law when no one was looking, God was introduce as the cop who watches you and judge you, it's basic psychology asctually!

  • if it was a concept then why ppl didn't obey in 1920's when federal government forbade pre marriage sex and alcohol ?? if it is basic psychiatry everyone should have obeyed the law ? how do you explain murders and crimes ? unless if lucifer would lure everyone to do the opposite thing god wants and pay attention this is not out of gods will .it is a test for mankind in this life ? your material belief blinds you from the truth , if you're wondering what's my belief , well im not christian .

  • @MikeLtheSoulChild if it was a concept then why ppl didn't obey in 1920's when federal government forbade pre marriage sex and alcohol ?? if it is basic psychiatry everyone should have obeyed the law ? how do you explain murders and crimes ? unless if lucifer would lure everyone to do the opposite thing god wants and pay attention this is not out of gods will .it is a test for mankind in this life ? your material belief blinds you from the truth

  • @esmaelooo are you sure it exists? prove it. i guarentee you proving space exists is a lot harder to prove than you think.

  • @hiestd the planets floating !!???? millions of galaxies isn't that enough proof ? hmm what about the dark material ? it exists but there is no rule or theory for it >.... that is what i know my speciallty isn't about it ... ....... ...

  • @MikeLtheSoulChild yea I took into account it might of been sarcasm. None of the labels you use I use. People study this kind of thing like it's some philosophy course. Not even my words are really describing anything, I just tried to create an image that might resonate internally. I don't reject the outer world. The inner and outer are mirrors of one another. To me, the paradox is true. Both things are true. The external and internal, the immaterial and material. Unity and Seperation.
