I've always wondered about that, but then I got to thinking: if *Phineas & Ferb* takes place in 2009, Memorial Day is 25 May. If summer vacation usually begins with Memorial Day weekend (like it does where I live now) but they had three extra snow days during the school year, they'd have to make them up at the end and summer vacation wouldn't start until 29 May. This puts day #104 on the day after Labor Day—the last day of summer vacation, where I used to live.

(Yeah, it's still pretty crazy.)
