What a beautiful tribute to Hato, your sweet little girl. I understand and share your hurt. My precious little girl Betty passed away right in my hand just 5 days ago. I held her in my open hand and talked so softly to her as she took her last breathes. So very tame and sweet just like your Hato. Betty only wanted to be so close, and I know I will always miss her. I cried...

This reminded me of Charlie, a male gray cockatiel. He died in my hands 4 years ago, and to this day I still don't know what he died of. All I know is that he had trouble breathing... :'(

me too. So far i lost 3 cockatiels, if u see my profile page, u would see the reason.

I found all causes of death by the result of necropsy at bird clinic.

I have multipld birds, sad to ask surgery, but send body to a vet.,

Awww...so lovely! My cockatiel of 27 years just died 3 nights ago -- I was sad that he died at night alone - it broke my heart. He is much missed. Your cockatiel looks fantastic -- a beautiful girl!!! They are such lovely birds...

I feel so sorry for your Cockatiel. Watching this vid makes me scared of what's gonna happen to my Cockatiel. Always go to your birds grave (if you have one) and say that you'll always love him/her.

My baby died in my arms two days ago; I had her for 7 years, and it was just me and her for all that time. She lived to be 24 human years old and she held on for as long as she could, for me, but her time had finally come. God I miss her--I can't stop crying.

My other cockatiel named Emily died 4 years ago at age 7. Emily is the first cockatiel I'd ever owned. When she died I couldn't eat and sleep well for awhile.Lost 10 LB in a week. ( My weight is 110LB) It took a time to accept emily's death.

Both Emily and Hato died all of a sudden.

Your cockatiel had a short life , but she had a wonderful life with you for sure.

Thank you. It had a very difficult time during the grieving process. I am fine now. I currently have 9 cockatiels and 2 conures, I keep trying to do my best for them.

1 sweety..its light grey like yours..

2 oliver..its like your other 1, hes grey , yellow face, orange cheeks..

then the last one is suger, shes grey all over with orange cheeks.

if they ever died,,,i just dont know what i would do..

R.I.P little Hato. What a lovely video for a truly wonderful bird. Your video made me cry because I still miss my snuggles which died to an accident 2 years ago. It hurts and always will.

That was a beautiful tribute to your Hato. I lost my cockatiel of 15 years last November, it still hurts... Cockatiels are such wonderful birds.

I am so sorry.... my pet cockatiel Walter died yesterday my brother shut the door on his neck when he was trying to fly on me and it killed him I am trying not to cry right now! He was only 4 years old

Birds are really happy when they get out of cage and play with their favorite person.

Household hazards for birds are usually a result of bustling activity.

Birds are accidentally stepped on.

No one notices the bird is up there and shuts the door...

I am so sorry.

But even his life was short, I think Walter had a really happy life with you.

chilly was 4 and willy last 9 years but he escape for second time, the cage was open and he got scared by a bike explotion and he flew through the window, it hurts me a lot, and the other one die in 08 a female named ''truckie'', she got sick and when a woke up to feed her she was on the bottom of the cage dead, i've burried her in my backyard. by the way, beatiful video, RIP Hato

I'm sorry to hear about your accident and loss.

Birds hide sickness so well, they can be seriously ill when the first sign of illness.

When I noticed Hato was ill, it was too late too. She was so cheerful one day before she die.

Hato gained weight from 90g ave. to 110g in last few month. I paied more attention to birds losing weight, but I didn't recognize it as a serious problem..
