@gyrobike The only bikes on your site are for children, but I know lots of adults who are wobbly too. My boy is 16 - he needs bigger wheels than these!
@1953Excalibur we do plan to offer adult models, so stay tuned. we know a lot of people out of all ages and abilities can benefit from our technology. we wish we could make it happen sooner!

Interessante questo video, qualcuno sa dirmi dove si comprano queste biciclette per adulti e secondo voi vanno bene per una persona adulta che non sa proprio andare in bici?
Belive it or not Free energy is real,But the coverup is very strong,Get the blueprints for a real Magnet motor free enegy machine at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Start the revolution!
The URL at the end goes to the Gyrowheel site (which I've seen b4) and is a different product powered by electricity and there is no size for adult bikes only 12-inch baby sizes.
This thing seems to be powered by the movement of the bike itself.
I purchased my daughter(7y) a nice new Trek bike last year. She won't let me take off the darn training wheels. She's pushing 8 for crying out loud. It would be cool if my kido could try out a gyrowheel. I'm thinking about getting the " balance buddy" but I don't know anymore! Any cool product!
wait....so if u wanna do a fast turn at high speed where the rider has to lean heavily to one side, wouldnt the extra precessin force get in the way? it would suck if that's the case........
The commercial model has controls where you can decrease and increase the speed of the gryo. As the learner leans how to ride and control the bike, they or a teacher can decrease the speed of the gyro and thus decrease the amount of stability the gryo will offer till they no longer need and they do not activate the gryo.
great for kids learning to bike. . . that's about it, but very interesting : ) i wonder how much it weighs to have THAT big of an effect, or how fast they have to get it spinning, don't think i'd ever be in the market for one, but it's an idea, i'll give it that
yes. Most people cannot balance because they arent strong enough to keep moving their legs (therefore, the wheel stops being a gyroscope, and they fall). By adding an extra ever-moving gyroscpoe it is easier to keep on balance and people doesnt give up because they dont fall (I remember the first time I tried to learn how to ride bikes, I gave up because I kept falling and falling). So, I think learning with this makes the process even faster.
could be interesting for kids learning... But I think... it prevents us from using and improving our own hability. For extreme mountain biking or bmx, That uses peralts, long jumps... it could make some new movements to the bike and make ther rider lose the control.
makes steering more difficult

I'll need a digital camera then. I don't have any of those. If you want, you could add me, and I'll try to get a video to you somehow.
Notoria666 3 years ago
Does it also allow you to maintain a higher top speed? And what about cornering?
Wormtail81 3 years ago
I think it would probably hurt acceleration and performance at high speeds, but that's not really the point. It's a heavier wheel.
