@Revosgonewild I'm using controllers with all four channels. It's just inconvenient to switch the channels back and forth, which is why I used multiple controllers.
@searme So you have One receiver that manages all four channels?
What I'm trying to figure out is how many of each part should i buy for what I want to do, how many battery packs, receivers, and motors do you have hooked up?
Sorry for the annoying questions, it's all a bit fuzzy to me.
@Revosgonewild You have 4 receivers, each for a single channel. And every controller can control any channel, but only one channel at a time. There is a switch on the controller that switches it from one channel to another. Since the switching would be inconvenient and wouldn't let me control more than two motors at once, I have used multiple controllers, each switched to a different channel.
However can one receiver control one motor for let's say, steering, and then tell two other motors to both rotate at the same time, so two motors go into one connection and the other goes into the other?
@bartybum They don't buy designs from outside. The don't take designs from outside. If you want something like this, you have to build it on your own.
There is no such thing as pneumatic motors. Perhaps if you followed the link in the video description, you could get some idea of how it's built from the photos.
I just saw your tow truck and the Kennworth and was amazed, now you show me another great piece of work. I dont't kow how guys like you come up with such ideas but I do know that I like the outcome, very much! So keep on building while I uhh.... play around with the mini figures and Duplos. ;)
I see, then you mean the distribution box. It's a nice thing, but only when you need to reduce the number of motors. And it's difficult to control remotely.
I think you refer to the trasmission driving rings. They were released by Lego long, long time ago, not just in newer sets but already in the 8880 set. Anyway, I have used them in a tracked vehicle once - in my Abrams model.
I don't think so. I've built a number of smaller, fully functional bulldozers already. Building a bigger one would be boring, as it couldn't be more functional.
As you perhaps already know I am a big fan of your. I have been trying to create a lego drive& steer system (I don't know what the real name is) and I haven't succeeded so I hope that you would make a video of how to make one. I'm not the world's best lego builder so Please. Thank you.
that is amazing did u buid that from scratch or did u mod a different modle have u ever thought about doing a instruction book cus if so i would buy with out a shadow of a doubt lol
It was slow, and here I need high pressure, as there are at least 3 cylinders in each pneumatic circuit. Besides, I need to try new stuff if I want to develop further.
Yes. 2 for drive, 1 for steering, 1 for compressor, 2 for pneumatic valves, 1 for flashing lights, 1 for blade tilting, and 3 for the crane. That's 11.
Nice, but the engine is noisy- like the real ones
