i have one that my grandfather brought back from france. the story he told me was he found it on a SS officer, along with the Luger. the white grips are interesting. i believe it was never a military weapon but a very popular police pistol for the time. have you shot it yet how the accuracy? mine is a little tack driver
I saw one of those about 20 years ago at a local shop with about 80% of the blue still on it. Think he wanted $200 for it back then. The Mauser .25 was a civilian pocket pistol imported into the US way back in the 20s but they lost out to better and smaller designs that were coming out from Colt and Remington, if memory serves me, this Mauser also came in .32ACP, one of the reasons it was so big. The Colt Pocket hammerless .32 auto killed this gun in the market.
Mauser 1910 .25acp first model, you also got the 1914 and the 1934 they were made in .32acp those models are a little bigger , the 1910 was a famous pocket pistol in germany and europe for civilians , the model 1914 was used in small numbers by the german army in WW1. in the WW2 the kriegsmarine(navy) and luftwaffe used the model 1934
Just a few words to tell you that an interesting downloadable ebook on this model (technical and historic aspects) is available at HLebooks.com.

@sovietkid96 the 1914 is a variant of the 1910. 7.65mm, which equates to .32 caliber.
