At the end, Elena was right, Damon saved Stefan. He brought back Stefan's humanity and Stefan saved Damon.

I LOVE this scene and I'm not even a Delena fan. This scene did make me feel for them, however. This scene made me see the beauty of their bond. It was just natural & perfect. Simply beautiful. I can't lie! This is my favorite Delena scene so far. I hope they have plenty more.

How come in the end, it's always Damon that saves her.. Stefan doesn't find out where she is, and doesn't wanna kill anyone in the process (seasons 1 & 2 obvi not 3 -__-) She doesn't realize that Damon loves her so much... You would think that after her death near the end of season 2 that she would remember the compulsion Damon used on her to froget when he said he loved her. i don't love this scene because of DE. i don't even think this scene is about DE. for me its about Stefan/Damon. i think these vampire/werewolf supernatural shows are so glitzy glam and overrated, but the reason i LOVE and can appreciate the vampire diaries is because the show is so much more than just supernatural, i love the emphasis that it puts on FAMILY. elena put it best " nothings more important than the bond of family" and i loved the "it'll be because he loves YOU". great scene

this reminds me of the episode where spike and buffy fell asleep in a bed together in eachothers arms, Spike said the day after that that had been the best night of his life. Theres something thats just so adorable about Damon laying down in a bed. Not lounging or sprawled on the bed with a smirk on his face, but laying. Like, "on his side, hands up by his head, and face snuggled into the pillow" laying. It makes him look so young and vulnerable. This scene is just... amazing. That look... That look of adoration coming from Damon is just... it's true and pure and innocent and just full of adoration. It's the look of someone in love. He looks at her like she's the most precious thing in the entire world.
