Yeah, sure...the best ornithologists in the world have tried for years to find one but you just happen to see them every hunting season in SC! And the local KFC is serving dodo bird wings!

Very very true...funny though that all those hours by ornithologists have not come up with any conclusive evidence and all we have years later is one fuzzy video...I think the Cornell crowd jumped the gun on this one..many of the folks at Cornell are now very embarrassed by it all.

@murder162 Get a photo or video if you can. I have heard there is a $10,000 reward offered for a good, clear photo that can be taken as proof that the bird is still alive.

i have no vidoe but in seen one of these back in93 up on talking rock mountain, gordon co ga. the biggest woodpecker i ever seen ,kinda cool. made me think of pld woogy wood pecker, lucky me.
