@1234kenzu Nobody feeds snakes chinchillas, they're incredibly expensive, and cats for the same reason. Plus, rats and rabbits are nutritionally suited for reptiles, where chinchillas and cats might not be.

The rabbits are humanely euthanised, so they are not in pain at the time of death, and they are long dead before they are fed to the snakes. It's just the circle of life, but responsible owners feed frozen/thawed so it's not cruel to the rabbits/rats/mice.

I have seen them sparsely in your videos, but could you do a segment on the care and awesomeness of Blood Pythons? & try to 86 a lot of the bad rumors about them? I have a blood python & I love her dearly & she literally has the personality that could rival a ball python! Yet people FEAR them so much! I just learned about your show a few days ago, so I have been watching a few of your videos. Question: Does anyone know how Satan got so pissy? I've been a snake lover since I was little, and I have never seen a snake with that bad of an attitude. I met a demonic tegu once, but he was abused and neglected by his previous owner. I own three Tork a 7 1/2 foot long colombian red tail Mit-e a 4 foot salmon boa and Blaze a 5 foot Berry Island rainboa. each have a great personality. I think it would be cool if ya'll brought in more guest apperances from other snake collectors. To kind of compare your knowledge and expirences with reptiles. I've red on the net where breeders say its safe.

I personally don't believe thinning a gene line is ever safe with any animal.

I love snakes but but reason why I avoid buying morphs is because of that possibility of inbreeding.

I just learned about your show today.... sad right ?? i love snakes so it a shame i didnt look for this channel before. Anyway, i have my girlfriend that is scared to death of snakes.. funny fact in harry potter (Nagini) when she sees the snake she closes her eyes and ears hehe i find it pretty funny ... do you have any tips on getting her to slowly understand these reptiles and maybeeeeeeeeee one day touch one or even look at one without twitching like a fool :P haha thanks and awesome show :)

I think the most important thing I've learned about snakes on Snake bytes is that they definitely need to be respected on an individual personality basis, oh and when choosing your snake take into consideration whether or not you have Chewy genes lol. The important part when you think of having a snake, is to know where to get its food. How much is too much for rodents? How do I know if the place I buy them breeds them ethically? Not using animal cruelty on the way they are bred and killed? Have the rodents beed fed properly so they would be best food for my snakes? Starving mice wont be nutritious... When should I think of breeding my own food, would it really be cheaper or just way too much work? Tips on how to breed rodents?
