Me and a Co-worker were talking about the World Series when all of a Sudden I had a feeling of Real Hurt in My Chest like if someone told me My Parents were Killed. I told him " Something Big and Real Bad is going to Happen and that Alot of People were going to be Killed". That it would also be a " World Wide News Flash"...

They key to beating the A's that year was getting to their middle relievers, but guys like Scott Garrelts and Rick Reuschel were way off their games. And the A's were mashing.

The best thing about that series was listening to all the cry baby SF Giants fans make excuses about how an earthquake was the reason the Giants lost. No, Rickey Henderson was the reason the Giants lost, not an earthquake. And for the record, the earth shook in Oakland on that day too! Stop crying Giants fans. The '89 Oakland A's were not only far superior than the Giants, they were one of the greatest teams ever assembled.

Dave Henderson was a reserve outfielder and sorry when he was with the Giants in 87.. He goes to the A's and hits 24 bombs with a .300 average the next season at 31 years old?? please.. Without Parker, Henderson, Mcgwire and Canseco they don't win a single pennant from 88-90.. At least when Bonds was doing roids and the Giants were good every other team was doing them to.. Back in 1989 you had maybe 1 or 2% of the players using steroids and without much natural ability at all guys like Canseco, Mcgwire and prob both Henderson would not have been anything close to what they were that post season without steroids..
