But I do not have that laptop now. I got rid of it. Because I was told from what it would cost to buy and have a new hard drive put in.I might as well buy a new laptop. And the laptop was second hand anyway. Andrea Borman.
Well I took the laptop to the repair shop. And the repair man told me that the hard drive had gone. And it would have cost me nearly as much as what I paid for the laptop to have it repaired. So I did not have it repaired. And I don't have the laptop now as it was not working. And would have cost too much to repair it. Andrea Borman.
Type into a browser search 'Access HP recovery partition' and select the EHOW page. It tells you how in simple and easy to understand terms.. Even you should be able to follow them..
Re Vista.. it works fine with the service packs. Re-install Vista as per the link I gave, and then install both service packs
Well I do not have that laptop any more. Because I was told that it would cost too much money to repair it. So I got rid of the laptop. Andrea Borman.
Yes,you are right. I found out the hard way that Windows Vista is very very slow. But Windows XP and Windows 7 are both fast and almost problem free. And other people I have talked to have had the same problems as me with Windows Vista. I was also told there were bugs in Windows Vista that could not be fixed. I wish I had known all of this before I bought Windows Vista. Andrea Borman.
Well my only experience with Windows Vista has been with that laptop, I told viewers about in the video. But as that laptop was second hand and not working properly.I cannot really judge Vista based on one experience with an old laptop. If I could try Vista on a newer laptop with better hardware it may run better. But it is difficult to find Windows Vista laptops in the shops now. They are mostly Windows 7. Andrea Borman.
Perhaps try pressing the F keys (beginning of the screen) to access the bios. Once in the bios, set it to default settings. Save. Reboot. Try restore again. 2nd option. Try Linux.
Well,I have tried all of that, but it has not worked. So there is a problem on the laptop that I cannot fix. But the computer engineer is going to look at, and will repair it for me. But the repair shop will have to charge me for the repairs. But as I cannot fix it myself, there is no other alternative but to take it in for repair. Andrea Borman.
best option is to change the hardrive, is very easy. just buy a used one and change them. it will work
