But childhood is the time we dream without expectations, hope without boundaries, and imagine what we can be. We aren't children for long. The story of Peter Pan is just an embodiment of those memories - something to inspire us to allow our own children the opportunity to imagine the possibilities.

Finally. Just last night, I was finally taken to Neverland in my sleep. I've been praying for the night when I could have this dream. Everything felt so real.. and I didn't want to wake up. Peter huddled the Lost Boys and I in one of those arm-linked circles and the last thing I remember was one of the boys saying: "Will we ever come back?" Then I heard the voice of my mother saying it was time to wake up for school. It was a surreal ending to the best dream.

I think the reason people cry is because peter represents dreams, hopes, our childhood, pure love and everything good in our hearts.

Wendy at the end of the movie said no because she knew the world wasn't like that and she couldn't lie to herself by thinking it was anything but. I respect Wendy a lot because of it.

Hmn..No one ever really thinks about the fact that Wendy's stories were always about Hook. Never Peter, until he came along. Its safe to assume that James had never- land first. Peter sort of owns never-land now; which is most likely why Hook loathes him. Notice that his ship can't leave unless pan's gone? (despite the cartoon sequel) I felt a lot more for the villain in this movie. Anyways. Food for thought.
