  • I screwed open a camera and touched the capacitor i think i got a shock fuck that hurted :O

  • I use goldtoe socks too

  • Don't sweat the haters that don't understand electricity. Real stun guns have limiters in them ... yours doesn't. Of course, if you want to get wild get a big capacitor from Radio Shack and some 9 volt batteries. Microwave ovens have mammoth capacitors in them, but you are skating on the deadly side ... but oh man ... what that would do to a thug!

  • im on a weird part of youtube again!

  • TRIPOD!

  • i shocked the shit outta myself... it hurt like hell... just be careful

  • Why is there music?

  • Really shoulda put in the video that you need to not only take the battery out but DISCHARGE THE CAPACITOR when you take apart the camera (touch the 2 leads together with something metal). That's why everyone's getting shocked after they take out the battery, the capacitor still has a charge in it.

  • So have I shocked myself just now an I have 2 marks on my fingrt

  • I have made one of these myself it works great....... heads up hurts like hell!!!!!:D

  • lmfaoooo it hurts :p

  • I have that same camera and idk what happend i forget which way the battery goes in and i tried both ways but the button isnt working

  • thumbs up if you moved back when it sparked

  • i put a smaller but FUCKIN STRONGER 2000uf cappacitor and i got a little 9v bat and fuck it shocked the FUCK out of me and my finger got a 3rd degree burn D:<

  • lol i made it and TOOK OUT THE BAT AND STILL SHOCKED THE SHIT OUT OF ME

  • Nice video.

  • I was trying to make this, I set off the shock while I was holding it, it hurts like a bitch and really numbs you hands

  • same glue gun

  • you can ask for a used camera for free at walmart sometimes

  • you can ask for a used camera for free at wallmart sometimes

  • mod it to use a 9 vold >:)

  • @blingbloobla I believe that would just make the battery last longer. The capacitator is 330V.

  • @MinecraftsMostEpic ahhh i see your point is very valid. i didnt even think of that.

  • Haha! Nice. I made one with a lego casing around it. I put clear blocks over the flash and added a button using bionicle pieces to make it so u can also use the flash to scare people. Sounds lame, i know, but it works good.

  • i know your pain it hurts like a bitch haha it burnt me :p

  • i hooked this up to an old metal tennis raquet and made a bug zapper xD

  • could i hot glue the wires to the capaciter

  • you should try it befor saying it doesnt work ... learn befor saying your opinion

  • to both of you, its powered by 330V and not the AA, and no, it wont kill or hurt anything. you are making pointless arguments

  • piece of shit a mouse wouldnt feel it AA battery haha get a better shock of the sockets lool

  • the fucking taser is powered by a AA batterie it wonnt even kill a rabbit

  • @izaiah303 It is powered by a 330V capacitor, and it says all over the place that it won't kill or seriously injure a thing. Man the rocket scientists I get posting comments here are getting dumber.

  • @izaiah303 The capacitor is 330V, standard tasers are 50,000 volts. You could have a 10 billion volt taser and it will not kill a human. It goes by amperage.

  • @izaiah303 You're planning on chasing down a fucking rabbit to tase it?? Get a hobby man.

  • *metal

  • K I made one but as I was putting it together I accidentally dropped a piece of fetal on the circuit board and the bulb exploded and temporarily blinded me it ALS fried the circuit board :P now it won't work

  • dont make this fucking taser i almost got killed not exaderating......dont taze the fucking camera hurts like hell

  • @grangerleber It will not kill you or even come close to killing you...you are indeed exaggerating. A lot.

  • ok i was just taking the mother board chip thing out and shocked th shit out of myself!!!!!!! BE VERY CAREFUL IT HURTS LIKE A BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOL!!!! i dropped my 11 year old couzin... cause he broke my xbox controller lmao he also cryed.. like a little bitch :) thats what he gets

  • Hmmmm that isn't as impressive as knocking someone down. Maybe if you could link multiple capacitors it would be enough to knock someone down/out.

  • @SirHoboTheSecond works on anything but you get the visible sparks with metal

  • @SirHoboTheSecond skin is a conductor asshat.

  • @DwainDuhwaine Yeah fuck you too.

  • why buy a camera you can just ask the people at the film devoloping counter for the dead camras and they will give you how ever many you want

  • It does hurt like a bitch

  • 8 people were shocked by a disposable camera taser

  • roflmao, u shld chnge ur name! itssounds like a mouthful!

  • Nice casing... Style, ish... But anyway i have made like 2 of them (with no case) and the spark was only 1/5 of the size of ur spark and wonder why?

  • @Satansniper12 All cameras could be different, also the contact points can change the size of the spark. I happened to get the biggest spark with that particular screw driver and two screws. Play around with it..see what works best

  • Hey how come when I was taking apart the camera, I took out the battery and I touched something and i still got shocked?

  • @warlockmetal1 because the capacitor will still be charged.

  • @chunkyfunkymonkey28 ahh figures.

After I watched this video, Ive already made 2 basic tasers. Those things are addicting. But I taped the battery onto one of them cuz it kept falling out and then the charging button got jammed in and kept charging the stun and it fell on the carpet and started sending sparks like outta control on my carpet and I had to stomp it out :( it was my favorite one; it had the strongest charge of the two and even had a little light to tell me when its done charging

  • @warlockmetal1 Lol, I did the same...

  • @wasitrealy lol it scared the hell outta me at first. After I made mine, it was self-destructing and sparking, so i had to stomp it out :( Too bad, because it worked really well...

  • lol i opend a old disposable camera (to make a viewfinder) and i shocked myself

  • anyone know if this is AC or DC current?

  • @ridethegiantbuffalo LLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • I think I blew my capacitor, It won't work anymoar.

  • could i get a bigger capacitor and swap it for the Kodak one? plus any ideas on a case to use that looks more like a stun gun and not a gun

  • I made this and shocked myself on accident like 3 times.

  • coool.

  • dude i made one differently than urs and when i hold my charge down for 5sec. it dropped my freind

  • SO if someone jumped out at me and i shooked him would the guy back away ?

  • @wowiliketolongoboard No, he'd probably think you have special needs and then would walk away. This isn't a weapon, it's a toy.

  • wow. i accidently shocked myself and i cant feel my finger!!!! gr8 vid!!!!

  • I have been working with HV circuits for a while now, and I can say that spending a few more bucks on an *extremely* simple flyback driver would produce some very electrifying results. Very. I do not agree that this project is dangerous, as the AA cell cannot deliver enough current. Nevertheless, it does hurt (duh).

    Really professionally made video, though.

    Keep up the good work!

  • What's the name of that song

  • @460forlyfe Chord Memory by Daft Punk.

  • When you shocked yourself, how much did it hurt? Would it be enough to make an attacker think twice?

  • @bored1980 It really wasn't bad, I think the video makes it seem more dramatic than it really is (sorry). It's more of an annoyance, nothing serious.

  • @bored1980 If you really want to hurt an "attacker", removing the capacitor will increase the voltage and lower the amperage, as the charging circuit delivers 3x the voltage than the capacitor in order to charge it. Without the capacitors, there is no need to wait for it charging.

  • This made me remeber something, when i was 8 or 9 years old i removed the casing (or whatever you call it) of a disposable camera and shocked myself and friends for fun. can't remeber my hand going numb like you described though, maybe you get used to it after a while.

  • can i use a larger capacitor from a computer power supply? and maybe a 9 volt or D battery?

  • @Gonthor1000 not sure, you'd have to try yourself. Good luck.

  • @Gonthor1000 the larger cap would NOT WORK NITHER WOULD THE 9V the D would work

  • canu use the same principal but connect it to the flash cause i want to go to a dark place with my freinds and flsh it in there FACES!!!

  • fuck...i did this with my camera, i took the battery out and the damn thing still fucking shocked me!! it hurts!! lol

  • @passwordguy1 When I ever touched the leads of the capacitor I only felt a tingle through my body

  • hahaha just took mine apart too. i'm not very bright apparently. i was fooling with the flash, listening to the charging noise before i took it apart. i then removed the battery without thinking twice.

Well, just got the crap shocked out of me. Twice. It seems the capacitor holds quite a charge!! lol

  • i have mini aligator clamps will those work for the saulder???

respond as fast as possible if anyone can

  • @dethlokpiggiez Those will work but aren't great

  • I disected the capacitor and made a smaller circuit on a sheet of perfboard. It's a lot smaller.

  • that is awsome as. i am so gonna do that

  • lol i saw this on tv on the new's

  • my camera dont have flash can i still do it?

  • @nagato94 no u need one with flash.

  • @nagato94 no the flash button is what powers the tazer

  • Comment removed

  • I took the battery out and it still shocks me

  • i made one of those befor and i brougt it to school my principal got TAZED

  • Your instrucktional videos are highly apreciated. today at school i brang it to show my friends, and one of them got into a fight with some other guy ( he was black ) i had it, tazed him, he swoar like crazy and backed off. Ah, the use of technology. So my thanks to you.

  • Yes it hurts bad

  • before i saw this vid my bro showed me this stuff and i tried to make one shocked the shit out of myself

  • can i put four together to shock my cat when she bites me too hard? man i am a bloody mess.... here kitty kitty kitty....

  • I was trying to find out if i could do something like this with a cvs camera and it shocked me and hurt but i could still use hand does that mean the kodaks have better effect? and could one of thoser kill or paralize for a day or 2

  • @BBGOTSKILLZ All cameras are different. Nothing is gonna kill or paralyze you..it just jolts you for a minute or so.

  • @BBGOTSKILLZ If you line several disposable camera capacitors in series it will probs work better

  • @BBGOTSKILLZ I'm thinking of building a capacitor bank and more bigger batteries

  • dude im 13 i did it an tis not that strong it looks rearly strong not rearly i even wet me finger an done it

  • @BenAst97 sorry my bad turns out i didnt push it on me hard enought this is so cool an paintfull

  • i would like to ask do u need to use seperate wires or doese the camera have its own and how do u get it the shape of a gun

  • @TheChannel414 You need separate wires and if you actually watched the video, you would have heard that I used the casing from a drill.

  • What kind of batter should I use if I want to eject a small shock so I can mess with friends?

  • man i got tazed by one of these things and they fucking hurt, i couldn't move my whole arm and

  • just spent 23 dollers and buy a taser stungun!!

  • ok for last time it doesnt ramp it up it just stores it. there are different pieces on the circuit board for the ramping up part. r tard

  • cheers for that - great

  • My word, what a nifty little gadget!

Should be called a 'Dispense with someone' camera.

  • do u now how powerful the gun is in volts and can i use a 9volts battery :D

  • @airsoftnorway1 Please read the comments before you ask these questions. I've already answered this multiple times. Mine puts out ~330V. 9V battery may work but I don't guarantee anything

  • @airsoftnorway1 No you shouldn't use a 9V battery: the circuit, and especially the transformer, are built for an input of 1.5V. This means that increasing the input voltage to 9V will not increase the power of your stun gun, it will only burn the transformer and short your circuit.

  • it dont "ramp up" the voltage it just stores high voltage until ready to use

  • @THSO360mods

It does ramp up the voltage from 1.5 volts to several hundred volts .

My flash has 4 batteries and ramps up to 330 volts .

  • so its normal for it to make that charged noise when you put the battery in and after you shock something? or should it not be making that noise after one shock and not pressing the button again? is it normal for the battery to be warm during this whole process? just wanted to know because i made one the other day and im concerned about these things. thank you.

  • @Twables89 All cameras are different, but the charged noise and the heat are normal. It is a short circuit, remember, so results will vary because you are using the camera against what it was built to do.

  • Nice video! A friend and I are making one out of a fugi-something camera. Doesn't come apart nicely like a kodak we just snaped all the plastic off and got the circut board. The capicitor is smaller then the one you have there but im sure it will still give off a nice shock. Pretty simple and cool to make for less then $10

  • I was fooling around with it and sparked it up a couple times, I cant get it to spark anymore, did I break the motherboard or something? Not sure if I should buy a new camera and be more careful

  • I touched the circuit board when the taser was charged by accident and it zapped me so bad that smoke case out. My finger hurt the rest of the evening.

  • what kinda wire did you use?

  • @TheDarkstar980 Just some regular 12 gauge

  • Are those just pulses of voltage or does it have a consistent stream of voltage to... whatever the hell I decide to use it on?

  • @mallard003 Just a pulse, think of the flash.. The bulb flashes, it doesnt stay lit

  • @chunkyfunkymonkey28 still pretty interesting insights here. I think I may try a variant on your idea and pull the capacitors and daisy chain them somehow to stack the voltage.

  • k heres how make a ok one take the camera diposible open it take fil m out and then theres the circut board there 2 sotter points next to lens there should be a flassh copper pice push it down carfully and then touch sotter points and something alos if u take the flashh piece off the copper piece and put it on those sotters it will sond like a firecracker went off.

  • Corto circuitare i condensatori, riduce notevolmente la vita dei condensatori...

    this project i made when i'm a kid ;)

  • hmm... sound a little like your shooting a pallet gun or taking a rubber band and stretch it and release , hitting a the table

  • @leafinmilo You, sir, are wrong. The sound it makes is what it makes.

To all: Please stop flooding the video with comments trying to find some flaw or otherwise in the simple video I have posted. Get off Youtube and make one yourself so I can stop coming back here to post replies to smart assed people. Comments will be disabled if I need to k eep wasting my time with this, which wouldn't be fair to the people here posting questions.

  • there's another way where you can just cut a wire and it will shock. i made the mistake of cutting the wire with all metal scissors. the ones with metal grips. if you hold it in your hands and it shocks you, the shock travels up to your shoulders.

  • @tman92119. I wasnt aware this was on manswers. I have been making these for years without outside help. Dont jump to false conclusions. Mike

  • Wasn't this from Manswers? ... And you're taking credit for it? :(

  • @tman92119 DOUCHE!!!

  • waley!!!

  • how many volt is it generating?

  • @pingolve --I think it's around 330V. That's what the capacitor says. I have no way of checking that though.

  • @chunkyfunkymonkey28 wow! i got a capacitor at 200V +/- 20% i guess that would do the work

  • @pingolve about 300

  • Hurts like a fuck i cant feel my left hand should i go to the doctor?

  • WARNING!!!! i just did this and it shocked me like HELL it felt like 20 or 25 bolts dont do it

  • i made one but it is not as shoking as that

  • @AChepelkevitch any kind, get something thick.

  • it hurts!!!

  • so u have to touch metal in order for it to shock?

  • @crazykawafool Nope, anything, but metal creates that cool spark ;)

  • It would be awesome to charge it and rip off the cap. and put plastic on it til you need to use it and carry it around and charge it again by the circut board :D

  • The video clearly states that everything is at YOUR own risk. If you felt unsafe, you should have stopped the build. Or, you shouldn't have used it on a little kid. Sorry to hear about your problems, but there is nothing I can, or will, do about it, as per the disclaimer. I would appreciate if the comments to this story be kept to a minimum. Mike

  • @chunkyfunkymonkey28 hey man if i put a bigger capacitor, it will do any change? and what about if u put 2 batteries?

  • ha ha johnny. classic generic

  • could i use speaker wire and tape?

  • Yepp. Just get the thickest wire you can get.

  • so basically the batery stores power in the capacitator, and when u touch metal it unleashes it cause u redirect the power with the wires?

  • Basically, yes

  • Don't you just hate when your drill lights on fire.

  • yeah man it's a bad day when that happens

  • dude no joke i have same circet board and when i de charged it so it wont shock me i used copper to discharge it now it wont work but the battery and one part of the cirqet board heats up plzz help

  • You probably shorted it out too much. Again, these circuits boards ARE not designed for this kind of application. Chances are, you might need a new one.

  • paper clips work better then wires just saying

  • I'll have to give that shot, thanks for the tip :)

  • I only said that something like 20 times in the video. Apparently some people are slow to catch on.

  • how do you shock a person. like hold metal to them or do you not need the metal peice

  • Just touch both ends of the taser to their skin. It won't spark but it will still shock them

  • what kind of wire do you need? does it matter?

  • The thicker, the better. no pun intended.

  • lol that big cylindar black thing shocks me without making all that shit, my finger is all limp.... ow

  • The button you pointed out, can it be pressed and used like an on and off switch so the battery isn't wasted and the taser is safe?

    Awsome vid!

  • On mine...no. That's doesn't mean all cameras are the same though. The best thing to do is guess and check lol

  • this us awesome, my friend is unconsious from mine right now!

  • mine exploded when i put the wires on
