It is a shame they didn't sing live more often. I adore watching Agnetha and Frida sing live.. their vocal chemistry was intoxicating. I think it was John Tobler (SP) who stated in one of their documentaries something along the lines that both Frida and Agentha were fantastic solo singers but when they combined they were amazing.

The gals sound amazing here, almost better than the recorded version. This is a reminder both of what incredible singers they were and of that special fit their voices had together, creating without any studio tricks almost a third voice between them.

And you know Super Trouper "tambourine"? Video id3cSI2E-B9iw (from 3:09 it can be hear clearly) A guy moving his hand constantly besides Benny doing something similar on the piano seems to do that sound. Do you know what are these instruments? (sorry for bad explanation)

If ABBA were EVER to get together for just one show, or one song, this song, if re-worked, with the Dum Dum Diddle lyrics removed and replaced with more serious ones, might be a good choice to be sung, it is classic ABBA; upbeat, positive, great tempo and beat, superlative vocals, but often ignored due to those lyrics.

I remember when this song was first introduced, the critics were unsure about the quality of this song and the resultant knock-on quality of ABBA. I remember thinking... "you critics don't know what you are talking about" (don't know shit, would have been easier). While this is not the strongest of ABBA songs, it still knocks most of them out of the park. Thanks for the lyrics 2Shay. I cannot stress how much we appreciate that extra effort.

It's amazing how two voices could blend so well. This is one of those songs that you find yourself humming at random moments.

And the girls look beautiful of course in their white flight suits. One of their best wardrobe choices, I think.
