The 2009 SSC Ultimate Aero TTis capable of reaching over 290 mph theoretically with a 15% power increase and minor aerodynamic changes, with 6th gear rated at a top speed higher than 300 mph. But they haven't tested it because they have yet to find a road stretch long enough to reach the top speed. They predict though that the highest driving speed will be 287 mph because of drag.

@sonicthehedge1900 Muscle cars and American cars are my favorite but I know for a fact Japanese cars are extremely reliable, my family has owned five Lexus's. a Toyota Previa, an old 4runner, Celica, Mazda RX-7, and a Nissan Z and loved/loves them all and never had problems with them. Sure they're not the most exciting cars or anything special, but they can sure last forever and run like they're new.

but honda nissan and toyota engines can handle 13.5K rpm tuning applications. i did 1 application to my honda fit. dynoed at 361whp@10.5K rpm 290ft/lbs@3.5K . no turbos no nos just pure grinding and forging, itb and varex exhaust system, ECU chips, replacement of fuel injectors. its my style of making a car faster instead of adding force induction, or a racing block. its simple enough, no more spending $5000+. and no problems with the car. if anyone think my method of tuning is better go ahead.

i love very high rpm motors. iv did it once with a 05 mustang N/A tuned 600 hp 10000 rpms. it was my first project car focused on engine response. i beat 2 r33 skylines, 5 other muscles, and 1 lamborghinies when i went on tour to las vegas and pheonix. but i didnt upgrade the transmission and i endup blowing a motor.. 8months of ownership and tuning for less than 6K. making some of the parts myself, grinding, forging,etc. forgot to strengthen the crankshaft. XD that snaped off in half.
i pratice high rpm tunings on tuner cars. just grind off a cm off the block, and the connecting rods then hardening process. no one will believe me that i can do 10K rpm V8. but the work shows when you put the pedal to the metal. i highly doubt a chevy or a dodge motor can handle my method of tuning.

@sonicthehedge1900 Muscle cars and American cars are my favorite but I know for a fact Japanese cars are extremely reliable, my family has owned five Lexus's. a Toyota Previa, an old 4runner, Celica, Mazda RX-7, and a Nissan Z and loved/loves them all and never had problems with them. Sure they're not the most exciting cars or anything special, but they can sure last forever and run like they're new.

but honda nissan and toyota engines can handle 13.5K rpm tuning applications. i did 1 application to my honda fit. dynoed at 361whp@10.5K rpm 290ft/lbs@3.5K . no turbos no nos just pure grinding and forging, itb and varex exhaust system, ECU chips, replacement of fuel injectors. its my style of making a car faster instead of adding force induction, or a racing block. its simple enough, no more spending $5000+. and no problems with the car. if anyone think my method of tuning is better go ahead.

i love very high rpm motors. iv did it once with a 05 mustang N/A tuned 600 hp 10000 rpms. it was my first project car focused on engine response. i beat 2 r33 skylines, 5 other muscles, and 1 lamborghinies when i went on tour to las vegas and pheonix. but i didnt upgrade the transmission and i endup blowing a motor.. 8months of ownership and tuning for less than 6K. making some of the parts myself, grinding, forging,etc. forgot to strengthen the crankshaft. XD that snaped off in half.

i pratice high rpm tunings on tuner cars. just grind off a cm off the block, and the connecting rods then hardening process. no one will believe me that i can do 10K rpm V8. but the work shows when you put the pedal to the metal. i highly doubt a chevy or a dodge motor can handle my method of tuning.
