The only reason there aren't mass accidents is because they can only drive 20 mph because of the insane population and super crowded streets. Try that on an American freeway. Not!

exactly, ppl in India think that if they can drive in India, they can drive any where in the world. The truth is the exact opposite, because ppl that drive in India are not used to road rules.  I have driven in India and when I went to Australia, it took me a while to adjust to the rules.

Because there aren't so many anal rules, people actually know how to drive. Although often the cars are not in such a good condition, and the drivers are not following British style rules, there are less accidents per person, as people are actually able to DRIVE rather than just follow rules.
