As a Chelsea and Germany fan, his injury in the FA Cup final was devastating to me. I don't know how Germany would have played in the World Cup with him instead of Khedira. Maybe better, maybe not - we'll never know. It was just a shame that he didn't have the chance. Either way, he was a vital member of our 2009/2010 Double-winning squad, which I know meant a lot to him after all the times he has come up just barely short in his career.
