Each of the BDSS uses very similar moves ,it seems to me as if their "interpretation " or "feeling" arise from dancing the same choreographies over and over again. Nevertheless, Ansuya is a good dancer,even if she seems a little overwhelmed with "Sahra Saidi " ;)

The first song is "Entrance of the Stars" by Paul Dinletir. You can find it on Bellydance Superstars Vol.2.

The third song is "Sahra Saidi" by Gamal Gommaa and is on Bellydance Superstars Vol.1. (One of my favorite songs!)

Belly dance or MED (raqs) isn't 'pure' anything - unless you're referring to folk dance, it's a mixture of movements from a range of countries, including the US. So you can't really say her movements aren't 'belly dance'. I'm awestruck at her ability to layer so many different movements on top of each other. Stunning!

Wrong, the style she's dancing is pure Middle Eastern Bellydance. From what I've heard however, this particular dancer is also trained in Kathak or another form of classical Indian dance. That's probably where you see the simliarities
